The Appliance Care Warranty Extension Plan assures you of repair if a newly bought product
encounters any defect within a specified period. The coverage starts when the product’s manufacturing
warranty expires, and ends on the plan’s expiry date.
Appliance Care Warranty Extension Plan is made available in ABENSON stores thru AIG.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY
Any purchased product that comes with Appliance Care Plan offers, and is intended to be used only for
personal or domestic purposes.
COVERAGE
Parts and labor coverage once the manufacturer’s warranty expires and the Appliance Care Plan takes
effect. It includes mechanical and electrical defects similarly covered by the manufacturer’s original
warranty. Valid only for use in the Philippines.
Repair accumulated cost coverage shall only be the same amount as the product’s price at the time of
purchase.
Replacement shall take effect if the product is assessed as economically and technically irreparable. In
this case, AIG, through its authorized service contractor, shall make the damaged product its property.
In this case, the Appliance Care Plan’s shall end, and a new plan may be purchased for the new product.
TRANSFERABLE
If a product had been sold before or during the period covered by the Appliance Care, its second owner
may still enjoy the benefits of the warranty extension.
FOOD SPOILAGE
Appliance Care includes the benefit of a reimbursable maximum amount of one thousand pesos only
(PHP 1,000), in the event that AIG’s authorized service center confirms that food has been spoilt as a
direct effect of a damaged refrigerator.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY
The total value of all repairs and replacement made to the product shall not exceed the price paid for
the product at the time of its purchase. Under no circumstances shall coverage extend to any loss or
damage to a person or property for any incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages.
COVERAGE EXCLUSIONS
Appliance Care Warranty Extension Plan does not cover the following:

Routine maintenance, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, external adjustments or any other works
not directly relating to the need to repair an item due to damage.
Non-operating and cosmetic items, consumables and accessories used in or with the product,
external cables and cords, glass and lens, and any item not part of the core function of the
product.
Unauthorized modifications made to the product, altered serial numbers, and voided
manufacturer’s warranty due to unauthorized installation, operation, maintenance or repair.
Damage caused by a voltage converter.
Loss or damage to product resulting from theft, robbery, corrosion, animal infestation, fire or
any acts of nature.
LEGALITY
The Appliance Care Warranty Extension Plan is NOT an insurance policy; it is a service contract. This
contract is unrelated to the make, materials, workmanship or performance of the product it covers.
