The Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) helps
people obtain health care and social services
in their homes, their community, and in LongTerm Care Homes. We coordinate all applications
and admissions to Long-Term Care Homes in
Northwestern Ontario. This includes:

as basic information on the services, programs
and special features available at each Home. The
CCAC also has a series of booklets about
considering, applying for, selecting and moving
into a Long-Term Care Home. These booklets are
available by calling your nearest CCAC office.

Care Home in order to get a better feel for the
environment, surroundings and the people who
live and work there. Most Long-Term Care Homes
offer regularly scheduled tours. The CCAC can
provide you with a schedule of these tours, or
you can contact each Home directly to set up an
appointment.
