The 2008 National Electrical Code. All Lee County Ordinances. And all current Florida State Statues, to include # 553.844 and #553.885. Contractors shall be responsible for all dimensions, locations, and quantities. All color samples shall be submitted and approved by this office prior to work commencing. Note: No deviation from this specification will be permitted without written and signed authorization by Lee County Department of Human Services. Contractors must obtain ALL NECESSARY PERMITS and all necessary documents from Federal, State and Local governmental agencies prior to commencement of any work, and furnish copies of permits to Lee County Department of Human Services prior to commencement of any work. Permits will cover all work to be completed under this schedule of work. SCHEDULE OF WORK DESCRIPTION OF ELECTRICAL All work shall comply with the 2008 National Electrical Code and Florida State Statue 553.885 1. Service and Distribution: Furnish all new electrical lines from new submersible pump at the bottom of the well to the well head and from well head junction to the house as required by code. Check balance of existing circuits that service the submersible well pump and all equipment on the side of the house. Check to ensure proper size amp electrical service and repair as needed. All 220V receptacles for well equipment will be amped per mfg. specifications, circuits complete with proper ground. All work will comply with the 2008 National Electrical Code and Life Safety Code for an existing dwelling and be completed in a workmanlike manner. $ S:\HSNG\Photographs-Specs\FY15\Anderson, Linda\REHAB SPECS 2010 CODE.doc Effective 4/30/15 1 DESCRIPTION OF PLUMBING All work shall comply with the 2010 Florida Plumbing Code 1. Electric Water Heater: Provide and install a new glass lined, quick recovery, electric water heater. Heater shall be equipped with a high limit safety cut off, pan, and pressure relief valve piped to the outside. Heater shall be 220 volts, double element, 4500 watts with minimum of five- (5) year guarantee. Size shall be a 40 gallon capacity to match existing unit. (A.O. Smith, State, Rudd, Rheem) or equal style. Installation shall comply with the 2010 Florida Building Code Standards and be completed in a workmanlike manner. Location as per existing. Reliance brand shall not be acceptable. $ 2. New Well and Pump: Furnish a new well. Provide all labor and material necessary for the installations of the new well and submersible pump in a new location on site. Location of new well must meet all current codes. Well shall be a 4" P.V.C., actual depth of the existing well will be as required given the location, cement grout and all other items necessary for a complete system. Well shall provide a minimum flow of 20 gallons per minute. Pump: Provide and install a 1 HP "J" series signature 2000 pump or equal. Cost shall include drop pipe, submersible cable, well fill, pressure relief valve, control check, pressure gauge, pump start relay, etc. Provide balance of work as necessary for a complete system. Abandon the old well site as per code, costs will be included with this item. $ 3. Water Pump/Well Equipment: Provide all new well equipment at the side of the house. When complete equipment shall be in a user ready state of operation to include all pumps, salt tank, pressure tanks, aerator tank, gauges, pump relay switches and central water filtration units for Iron/Hydrogen Sulfide. $ DESCRIPTION OF MECHANICALS All work shall comply with the 2010 Florida Mechanical Code 1. Central Heat and Air Ducts: Remove existing supply and return grills. All existing duct work shall be inspected for leaks and shall be repaired where required. Existing ceiling or wall boxes shall be completely enclosed in mastic inside and out. Use of mastic and/or UL-181 tape is required. Existing duct work shall be cleaned, disinfected, and dried. Make repairs to plenum box in garage as needed. All work shall be completed in a workmanlike manner. $ DESCRIPTION OF PERMITS AND MISCELLANEOUS 1. Clean Up: Leave entire interior and exterior premises clean and free of debris. No debris shall be burned on site. All surplus materials to be removed shall become the property of the contractor unless otherwise stipulated. Clean up will be completed in a timely and workmanlike manner, including the removal of all equipment. $ 1. 3. Permits: Contractor must submit the entire work schedule to building department to ensure all proper permits are obtained. Obtain all necessary permits and all necessary documents (Con-currency Requirements, etc.) from Federal, State and Local governmental agencies prior to commencement of any work. Furnish copies of permits and all necessary documents to Lee County Department of Human Services prior to commencement of any work. Permits will cover all work completed under schedule of work for general, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing. All fees shall be paid by contractor for permits required by application.
