Assembly Instructions:
ATX Connectors:
Strip 1/8” off ends of 18 AWG wire at each end and crimp pins (Molex #39­00­0039) to the ends. Push ends into connectors, matching wire color with pin number as per previous figures. A fully assembled set of wires consists of two 20 pin plugs connected by wires and two 4 pin plugs connected by wires of each length. This set of wires, each of the same length, creates the paired ATX connectors. The pin numbers are located on the plugs, though difficult to read as they are small.
Two Pin Connectors:
Strip 1/8” off ends of 22 gauge twisted pair and crimp pins (Molex #16­02­0097) to each wire at each end. Push ends into connectors (Molex #50­57­9002) taking care to connect pin one of the first connector with pin one of the second connector. Pin one is denoted by the triangle on the connectors. Each length corresponds to motherboard 1, 2, or 3. Each motherboard needs three wires of the same length. For example, motherboard 1 needs 3 two­pin connector wires of length 26”. A fully assembled set of Two Pin Connectors consists of three equal length twisted pair wires with connectors.
