Secondary Education Integrated Science Content Area Requirements
The subject area course work listed below details the course work required in our undergraduate
programs, at the graduate level substitutions are possible but this list provides a guideline to the
breadth and depth of content course work required for an Ohio Integrated Science Teaching License.
Sciences- UC offers an Integrated Science License with an emphasis in each of the following areas: Life
Sciences, Chemistry and Earth and Space Sciences. We also offer single subject license in Biology,
Chemistry, and Physics (see separate handouts).
