Two new ranges of Marker Lamps have been
launched to complement our exis3ng marker lamp
ranges - Round and Low Profile.
The new addi3on of Round Marker Lamps (series
181) offers ‘sealed for life’ electronics, a 5-year
warranty, and 12/24 dual-voltage versa3lity whilst
being fully ECE cer3fied. These LED lamps measure
just 25mm deep by 28mm in diameter and are fixed

The French Connec,on
LED Autolamps welcomes into its first Newsle4er a valued
customer, Electro Maintenance, which was established in
1978 as part of the GCEP Group and is located in
Châteaurenard-de-Provence, France.
Star3ng life as a ba4ery repair company for fork-li$
chargers, its know-how and exper3se enabled it to quickly
extend its ac3vi3es. As part of this diversifica3on it has
become a wholesaler for many products across most of
Europe, and is the sole importer of the complete range of
LED Autolamps’ ligh3ng solu3ons for trucks and
commercial vehicles in France, where it has over 500 sales
outlets.
“We have been working together since September 2009,
and the two companies enjoy an excellent working
rela3onship,” commented Sébas3en Rothan-Ledoux,
Export Manager, GCEP Group. “The quality of their service,
delivery and their comprehensive product range is also

Feedback from Electro Maintenance to LED Autolamps
about the ligh3ng needs of the commercial vehicle market
in France has resulted in new products being developed
and others modified by LED Autolamps specifically for this

The comings and goings of the LED warehouse!
The LED Autolamps warehouse is
where all the ac,on takes place.
Here we fulfil the needs of our
customers and have been doing
so for the past two years.
We are extremely proud of our fully stocked
warehouse facility which is managed by
Hayden Cumberbatch, who has worked for
us for over 2 years, he ensures that
everything runs smoothly and all logis3cs are
organised Europe wide. Another member of
our team is Jamie, a budding professional
footballer who plays for Hednesford Town
Football Club.
A lot more goes on in our warehouse than
simple pick and pack. Our fully racked warehouse system ensures that
accuracy is maintained at all 3mes so that the customer always gets the
correct products and quan33es. And, we always strive for next day
delivery. Not only that, we are flexible to deal with that and could be
working un3l late into the night to ensure a customer gets their order!

as for van converters, mobile

where their minimal power
consump,on will
prove invaluable.”
Our interior lamps are available as a 12V or
24V unit whilst being fully EMC cer3fied
and have a 3-year warranty. These
unobtrusive, slim-line LED lamps measure
just 10mm deep by 25mm wide and are
available in 100mm (p/n 1016), 150mm
(p/n 1031), 300mm (p/n 1061) and 600mm
(p/n 1021) lengths. They are easy to fit and
are cost-effec3ve as they provide a long
service life.
The lamps u3lise cool white colour LEDs to
simulate a fluorescent tube light and
advanced op3cal performance to deliver
maximum brightness for their minimal
power consump3on. Current draw @ 13.8
volts: (1016) 0.11A, (1031) 0.17A, (1061)
0.31A and (1021) 0.58A. Current draw
@ 28 volts: (1016) 0.5A, (1031) 0.7A, (1061)
0.017A and (1021) 0.31A. Current draw
from the equivalent filament bulbs would
be significantly higher resul3ng in cri3cal
ba4ery drain.

They are fully submersible, rust-proof and
shock-resistant and have tough rubber
housings with 20cm of sheathed cable for
added protec3on. Available in amber
(181AME) for side markers, red (181RME)
for rear-end outline markers and white
(181WME) for front-end outline markers.
They have a current draw of only 0.03 Amps
@ 13.8 and 28 volts.
The new range of Low Profile Marker Lamps
(series 44) offers a 5-year warranty and
mul3-volt 12-24 volt versa3lity and is fully
ECE cer3fied. Available in amber (44AME)
for side markers, red (44RME) for rear-end
outline markers and white (44WME) for
front-end outline markers.
They have a current draw
of only 0.02 Amps @ 13.8
volts and 0.03 Amps @ 28
volts. The lamp assembly
measures 100 x 44mm
with a thickness of only
12mm and includes a 50cm hard-wired
cable. It incorporates an LED lamp strip as
well as a large reflex reflector and is screw
fixed. A pendant bracket fixing will be
available shortly.

Neil supplied was so
entertaining that we are
publishing it word for
word – more or less!!
“With regard to the upcoming LED
newsle4er, I am happy to give you a
li4le background informa3on.
“I have been involved in the
motor industry since leaving
school 35 years ago – oh
my god – is it really that
long?
“During my career I have
worked for some of the
leading players in the industry,
well-respected names such as
Edmunds Walker, AP Lockheed, Pagid UK and GP
Automo3ve as well as Sachs and Donaldson, all of which
have provided me with experience and understanding of
the UK a$ermarket, not to men3on some very good
contacts!
“As far as hobbies are concerned, I am a fana3cal
supporter of Leeds United ( I was born and brought-up in
the great city) and a commi4ed ‘petrolhead’. I have had a
passion for cars since I was a toddler and I s3ll harbour the
ambi3on of buying and restoring a classic MG sports car. I
would also like to be able to play more golf – I love the
game but do not have the 3me to play o$en enough to
maintain a decent handicap.
“I am married to Pauline, who is a college tutor, and
between us we have 4 grown-up children and 2 grand
children. Pauline recently completed a tandem skydive to

raise money for Cancer Research. As if throwing yourself
out a perfectly serviceable aircra$ at 10,000 feet isn’t
crazy enough, she was joined for this adventure by her 88
year old mother, please see the photos. So far, they have
raised around £4000, but if anybody wants to make a
contribu3on, it would be very gratefully received.

Marker Lamp
The harness system incorporates several new specially-designed
patented push-and-seal connectors which are rated to IP67
interna3onal protec3on standards.
It also comes with a choice of standard cable lengths, with lamp
cables of 60cm, 1.2m, 1.8m and 2.4m, marker lamp cables of 1m,
2m, 3m, 4m and 5m and main chassis cables of 4m, 6m, 9m, 12m
and 15m.
Designed specifically to be used on hard-working vehicles and to be
