VEHICLE STARTING PROCEDURE
1. After purchasing the MightyBoost, it is advised to charge it
immediately for a minimum of 24hrs or until the GREEN LED LIGHT appears on the control panel.
1. Always refer to the jump starting instructions of the vehicles
manufacturer before jump starting - each vehicle will vary.
1. Switch off all vehicle electronics such as headlights, air conditioning,
radio, sat-nav, heated seats etc.
2. When not in use, make sure both cable clamps are securely fixed to
the moulded clamp holders either side of the MightyBoost.
2. Connect the Red cable to the (+) Red Positive terminal of the
vehicles battery.
3. Never connect the MightyBoost to a short-circuited battery.
3. Connect the Black cable to the (-) Black Negative terminal of the
vehicles battery.
2. When the MightyBoost requires charging, the RED LED LIGHT will
appear on the control panel as a reminder to charge immediately.
3. When you plug in the 240V-12V transformer, a green indicator light
will illuminate on the transformer plug to show that it is functioning
correctly. Then simply connect the other end of the charging
transformer into the charging port at the front of the MightyBoost.
During charging, the charging light on the control panel will be RED.
Once the MightyBoost is fully charged the charging light on the
control panel will turn GREEN.
4. Even after using the MightyBoost once, it is advised to recharge it,
it is also advised to recharge it every 2 months in order to extend its
life-span and to keep your MightyBoost fully functional at all times.
The MightyBoost has no memory, you can keep your MightyBoost
on charge 24hrs a day 365 days a year.
Please note:
4. DO NOT inverse the polarity. Please make sure not to make contact
between the (+) RED and the (-) BLACK cable clamps. To avoid a
short circuit please do not make simultaneous contact with any
metal parts. Short circuits will definitely cause terminal damage to
your MightyBoost.
5. Always check the vehicles correct battery voltage. The MightyBoost
Auto is only suitable for 12V vehicles.
6. When infrequently used it is advisable to charge the MightyBoost at
least once every 2-3 months until the green LED light appears. If
the MightyBoost is not charged when the Red LED light appears (it
means the battery voltage of the MightyBoost has dropped below
12.35V) the battery of the MightyBoost may start being sulphated
and could cause irreversible damage or loss of its efficiency.
The charging port in the control panel has an automatic sensor and will
sense when the MightyBoost is charged and shut itself down automatically.
There is no risk of overcharging or undercharging the MightyBoost.
7. The MightyBoosts efficiency and extended life-span is only
guaranteed by operating the correct charging procedure.

8. Only use the original 240V-12V charging transformer or the original
12V DC charger supplied to charge your MightyBoost.
4. Start the vehicle. Limit your starting attempts to a maximum of
4-5 seconds at a time. Allow the MightyBoost to cool down for
approximately 3 minutes after each unsuccessful starting attempts.
If you are unable to start the vehicle after 3 attempts please stop.
5. Once the vehicle has started, disconnect the (+) Red cable clamp
and the (-) Black cable clamp from the vehicles battery terminals.
