On Air 7 Small Cell Network Design Considerations Our Process How do we select your assets as prime locations for our small cells installations? • Performance Testing – Identify coverage and capacity needs. • Analyze network options and determine the best solution (Small Cell, ODAS, IDAS, Macro). • Create a scope of work and begin sitting process. – Walk the area Look for high traffic areas (apartments, schools, busy intersections/retail) Keep the “antenna bubble” clear (shadowing creates blockage) What you see is what you get (structures hurt). Be flexible, but realistic. Move it if it needs it, but along the fiber run. Confidential and proprietary materials for authorized Verizon personnel and outside agencies only.
