WARRANTY
Easton limited warranty E.U.:
This warranty covers Easton bicycle product (component & wheel) manufactured by or
for Easton Cycling.
Warranty Period:
Easton provides warranties to original owners to ensure their products are free from defect in the
materials & workmanship under normal conditions & reasonable use For two years from the date of
purchase on all Easton wheels and components. This warranty is not transferrable.
A product warrantied by Easton will be repaired or replaced at Easton’s discretion, free of charge.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties. Any implied warranties of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the same duration as this express warranty.
Easton shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to: loss
of income or earning, personal injury, property damage or any other costs in any way.
You MUST establish proof of purchase to obtain warranty service or replacement.
This warranty does not cover:
• The Easton product if it has been modified or repaired by any person other that an
authorized reseller.
• The Easton product if it has been used for rental or commercial purposes.
• Any representation or warranty made by Dealers beyond the provisions of this warranty.
• Damage resulting from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship including but
not limited to: accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper repair, improper
maintenance, alteration, modification, failure to perform maintenance as instructed or unauthorized
repair or service or other abnormal, excessive or improper use.
• Damage resulting from use of product which is defective or incompatible with Easton product.
• Damage considered normal “wear and tear”
• Damage occurred during product shipping or transport or aesthetic imperfections related
to the surface, finish, or appearance of the product that were evident or identifiable at the
time of purchase.
• Damage or deterioration to the surface finish, aesthetics or appearance of the Easton product
during normal use.
• Products without a sales receipt or invoice, which makes it impossible to establish the date and
place of sale. As well as risk of illegal or illicit provenance (stolen, contraband, sold in violation of
the fiscal regulations, etc.)
• Products which the identification markings have been removed altered or obscured in any way
(serial number, production lot, product code)
• Any costs related to the transport of the product to and from an authorized Easton
Service Center
• Any costs required for removing or reinstalling the product from the bicycle
• Compensation for inconvenience, rentals, temporary replacements or any costs incurred while the
product is being repaired or replaced.
This warranty expressly provides for the repair or replacement of defective Easton product and is the
sole remedy of the warranty. Any and all other remedies and damage that may otherwise be applicable
are excluded, including but not limited to, incidental and consequential damages.
Warranty Handling:
In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, please contact an authorized Easton Service Center.
In order for claims to be honored, they must be presented within the period of validity of the warranty
and with a proof of purchase. Before sending any product to an Easton Service Center to be inspected
for warranty consideration, you must obtain a return authorization number from the Service Center.
The return authorization number (RA) must be clearly visible on the outside of the packaging of the
product. The issuing of an authorization number does not constitute acceptance of the claim, which will
be assessed by the Service Center after the product has been inspected.
