It’s matter of the pleasure for me to announce that BapuGKV ENEWS LETTER is entering in 3rd year of publication with 1st issue of
volume 3.
As the University examination for Engineering, Pharmacy and Science students will commence in upcoming months, I wish them all
the best for examinations.
From the Current year we are going to start two new programmes - B.Com and L.L.B.
Moreover our 3rd batch of the Engineering and Pharmacy is passing out in May-2015, I
also wish them bright career in their future endeavor.

The Bapu Gujarat Knowledge Village established in 2009 to promote professional education in Gujarat and particularly
in and around Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar region.
The trust and educational institutes for Engineering and Pharmacy are promoted and managed under the guidance of
managing trustee Shri Shankersinh Vaghela, leader of Opposition, Gujarat Assembly and M. L.A. (Kapadwanj), former
Chief Minister of Govt. of Gujarat, former union minister of Textile, Govt of India, a hugely popular leader who is
known for his pioneering efforts aimed at societal development.
The Bapu Gujarat Knowledge Village is situated in the lap of nature and extended in 40 acres land at vasan, Gandhinagar with its all stone architecture, lush verdant woods and landscaped gardens provides an idyllic environment to engage in academic and learning. Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Pharmacy (SVBIP) was established in 2009 as self financed college approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, New Delhi for B. Pharm course with 60 intake and M.
Pharm course with 18 intake in Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance.
The college building has 14 Laboratories including sophisticated instrument room and industrial laboratory,
Four Classrooms, Tutorial Rooms, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, Library, Animal House, General Store & Administrative area, designed to the suit as per the requirements of AICTE and PCI for pharmacy education.
Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi has approved the college for B. Pharm from 2009-10 to 2014-15,
2014-15 to 2015-16 academic session for 60 admission u/s 12 of pharmacy act,1948.

outstanding work in Engineering Seismology and Tsunami Engineering.
 Dr. V M Patel is appointed as a member of GTU Advisory Committee of National Service Scheme for 2015-2017.
 Dr. V M Patel was committee member of 4th GTU Convocation Ceremony on 22nd January, 2015.
 Prof. Ravi Patel was invited as a Subject Expert for GTU Interview Panel at R. S. Patel Institute of Diploma Engineering, PALASAR, Mehsana on 28th March 2015.
 Prof. Abhijtisinh Parmar was awarded certificate on Excellence in reviewing by International Journal science Technology and
Engineering on 15th February, 2015.
