Enersun ESS48 Type 2 Off-grid power system Enersun ESS48 is a range of off-grid power systems designed for 48VDC continuous load applications. The array is sized to provide adequate power to recover a battery after no sun for periods of 3-days, 5-days or 7-days for varying sun-hours. Supplied standard with each system is array frame, battery and power cabinets. The array frame is manufactured locally from steel, each member being double hot dipped galvanised and the cabinets are zinc primed and powder coat finished. To guarantee the back-up capability of the system Yuasa VRLA AGM batteries are specified which can provide 8-years service life. The photovoltaic modules use utilise monocrystalline technology, and are certified to international standard IEC 61215 ed.2. Using high quality material, these modules are guaranteed against material and workmanship defects for 10-years, with 25-year pro rata warranty on performance*. Control of charging is managed by Pulse Width Modulation regulator which are natural convection cooled. These have a two (2) voltage free contacts to generate alarms. EN309-1218 Best of all selection is simple. By using the supplied matrix and referencing the corresponding continuous load requirement with the sun-hours and days back-up required, it is possible to quickly select the most appropriate Enersun ESS48 system for your application.
