KL Concrete anchor (K31 - K35) Drill a hole Ø 6.5 mm, depth at least 40 mm + thickness of the component. Knock in the concrete anchor with a normal hammer. When installing steel components, the hole in the component must be at least 8 mm, for thicker goods 8.5 mm. During this time we have continually developed our technology, painting both with wet paint and powder. rope, we have developed a polyester powder that gives a very hard-wearing and even surface layer. Powder paint is free of solvents, which we consider to be a major advantage, benefiting both the Wet paint Our wet painting facility has the capacity to paint 200,000 screws per shift. After pre-treatment, the screw is painted with two-component polyurethane paint. Polyurethane paint is generally characterised by very good outdoor resistance and high resistance to mechanical influences. The paint also offers good colour resistance, without chalking or fading, which makes it particularly suitable for acidic environments. The paint we use has also been further adapted to cope with the very tough treatment to which it will be subjected. The colour system is evaluated regularly and has proven to satisfy extremely stringent requirements. all the Scandinavian sheet profilers’ colours, which can be delivered at short notice thanks to a very flexible manufacturing process. Clasp and tin nails are stocked in some ten colours. Blind rivets, some dimensions are stocked in five colours. Construction and industrial screws can, in most cases, be supplied in any colour in accordance with NCS, RAL or according to colour tests. Construction metal screws are stocked in around 15 standard colours. We also stock paint in Verification/testing In order to ensure high, even quality in our paint systems, we take regular samples from our production process. Samples are taken from each consignment to check the resistance of the paint to external influences/mechanical wear and for colour checking. Different types of corrosion test are performed regularly to check colour systems and surface treatment. Accelerated corrosion tests, salt spray, humidity cabinet and SCAB tests are conducted in co-operation with our paint suppliers, as well as by independent testing institutes. We also conduct field tests ourselves. Alongside our paint suppliers, we are continually developing our paint systems, although no changes are implemented without extremely comprehensive testing.
