Safety and Installation Requirements
Please ensure that these instructions are read and understood before commencing installation. Failure to comply with the
instructions listed below can cause product/property damage, severe personal injury, and/or loss of life.
Working on the equipment
The installation, adjustment, service,
and maintenance of this product must
be done by a licensed professional
heating contractor who is qualified and
experienced in the installation, service,
and maintenance of hot water boilers.
There are no user serviceable parts on
the boiler, burner, or control.
Ensure main power supply to
equipment, the heating system, and all
external controls has been deactivated.
Close main fuel supply valve. Take
precautions in all instances to avoid
accidental activation of power during
service work.
It is not permissible to perform service
work on any component parts ensuring
safe operation of the heating system.
When replacing parts, use original
Viessmann or Viessmann approved
replacement parts.
Ensure that the installation
literature of other components
is referenced.
Product Information
The pump junction box supplies power
to field supplied pumps. It is shipped
with the boiler and must be installed
whenever each of the boilers listed
above is installed in conjunction with
the following controls:
1.
- Vitotronic 100, KK10
- Vitotronic 100, KW10
If installing Vitotronic 200 or 300,
discard the pump junction box.
Installation instructions
Install the pump junction box as
follows:
1. Place the pump junction box for the
Vitorond 100 / 200 underneath the
top panel near the back of the boiler.
See Fig. 1.
2. For Vitogas 100 and Vitogas 050,
RS Series boilers, the pump junction
box comes factory installed.

1. Connect the RAST-5 plug-in
of the Pump Junction
connector
Box to the main circuit board of the
control, as shown in Fig. 2.
2. Feed the power supply cabling of the
system pump through the opening at
the back of the boiler and connect to
terminals in pump junction box, as
shown in Fig. 2.
IMPORTANT
Run BX (armoured cable) or any other
approved wire (required by local
authority having jurisdiction) from
junction box terminal to heating circuit
pump.
