For the high brightness, wide color gamut possibility to obtain continuous white light from 3200K to 8000K and low final etendue this product is the new reference in the LED's projector market. A patented optical engine and a new hybrid cooling system guarantee the maximum available brightness while maintaining superior color quality, high CRI and over 20000h lifetime. No flicker because of the CW mode driving and superior uniformity for the optimized integration system. New optical architecture “Perfect mix of high quality coatings, materials and technical solutions.” The new patented optical architecture is the result of over two years of research and optimization; adding the perfectly customized coatings by ODL and the high quality of the innovative optical materials applied, place LBM600 far ahead from competitors. A future-proof solution We designed the mechanics of the engine to make the assembly and substitute of any component very easy. The maintenance and part substitution is extremely easy and can be done without any particular skill. The system is ready for up-scaling and for new sources that will be available in the medium-long term. This makes this product future-proof. Customization We are know that our customers need to customized their product and, at the same time, they need to limit as much as possible the cost and efforts to do that. For this reason we design our system taking into consideration the possibility of easy customization: it regards the projection part (light shape, angle etc.) and color quality where ODL can offer a wide range of solutions. 3 Total flexibility We designed and developed any part of this engine with max attention and care and for this reason we suggest to use the available solutions for cooling, optics and mechanics but we are open to different solutions in case our customer prefer to use or develop different modules. In this case we indicate the parameters to maintain to guarantee for correct working. The possibilities of flexibility regards the driving (we provide just a module for the direct control of the LED's) the cooling system, the projection part after the condenser, the dichroic filters for different color rendition. Optical specifications The LBM600 provide a full RGB color. The primary color spectra are: Green: Blue: Red: Red: The max flux that can be obtained for each channel is: RED (14.0A) 4000lm (minimum) Green (20.0A) 14500lm (minimum) Blue (20.0A) 1800lm (minimum) A specific filter can move the green towards a more saturated region. 4 Color Rendering Index (CRI) The figure shows the CRI of LBM600 vs. a 1000W discharge lamp LBM600 Osram 1000W (R13.8A+B 5.0A G14.0A) x y Tc 0,3253 0,3114 5865K 0,3253 0,3622 5807K 5 Angular distribution: f# ~1.2 but can be customized according to the speed of the imaging system. Of course increasing the f# the image size increases as well. In case of f#=1.2 the image size is: 6 Mechanical dimensions As previously said we dedicate particular attention to have an easy assembly and maintenance of the system. At the same time we design the assembly to have a high precision positioning to guarantee a perfect alignment of the optical system. The final dimensions, including the cooling system, are: LxHxP 250 x 250 x 110 mm TOP VIEW SIDE VIEW DOWN VIEW The optical parts are sealed to avoid any dust contamination. 7 Cooling System Reliability and efficiency of the LED's are strictly related to the quality of the cooling system. We developed both a liquid and a hybrid cooling systems. For the hybrid system we designed a cooling using phase changing components and dissipators. This offer to the customer the possibility to select the best cooling system according to the specific environment. The final result is a compact low noise assembly with superior thermal stability in case of hybrid solution and a completely silent product in case of liquid cooling. This can be very helpful in application where reduced noise is a requested issue (i.e theatre) Electrical Data RED GREEN BLUE Current : Voltage: Imax: 14A Imax: 20A Imax: 20A Vmax=17V Vmax=17V Vmax=17V 8 About us ODL Srl, founded in 2009, replaced the activity of ODL SpA that has worked in the field of optical coatings since 1987.
