2a.How to connect the rotary switch:

Attach the connector on the included cable to the rotary switch and cut the other end
to desired length. Then install the five colored wires to the control unit according to
the wiring instruction.

The Dimmer control unit can be used for Roca dimmable PowerLED lights up to a total
power of max 100W. This unit is supposed to be placed near the lights with a distance
of max 3m to the lights to not jeopardize the quality of the PWM signal. The control unit
shall be supplied with 12VDC or 24VDC and shall be fused for max 8 amps.
Connect the positive and the negative wire to the control unit according to the wiring
instruction. Use isolated cable connectors.
For minimum of Voltage Drop use below chart for correct cable area.
Attach 2 wires from the control unit on terminal 2 and 5 and connect to the switch.
The dimmer is compatible with any normally-open momentary push button designed
to work with this low power. Note: Rotary switch and a momentary switch can be used
together when you need light adjustment possible in 2 different locations. Even 2
momentary switches can be used instead of one switch and one rotary switch. Just
connect them parallel.

All power supply wires (red and black) should be twisted in pairs to lower the risk
of unwanted RFI-problems (Radio Frequency Interference).

Roca dimmable PowerLED lights have 3 lead wires. The red and black wires are for power.
Red wire, positive +12VDC or 24VDC attach to terminals marked +. Black wire, negative
- attach to terminals marked -. The white wire is the dim wire for dimmer interface and
shall be attached to terminals marked PWM. Use wires of min. area 1mm2. One positive
or negative terminal shall not be connected to more than max 2 lights each.

Limited warranty
»» Roca warrants 3 years on LED lights, dimmer and rotary switch from the
date of purchase. If failure occurs during this period, return it to your dealer
for repair or replacement.
»» This warranty does not apply to failure or damage caused by improper
installation, misuse, lightning strike or damage from a power surge.
»» Roca leaves no warranty if the dimmer control unit is used for other than
Roca dimmable PowerLED lights. The same if other than Roca dimmers are
used for Roca lights.
