6” 26W/32W COMPACT FLUORESCENT IC HOUSING
DESCRIPTION
B A F F L E
Thermally protected, specification grade compact fluorescent IC
housing. For new construction where housing will be in direct contact
with insulation. Accommodates (1) 26/32 4-pin Compact fluorescent
lamp. Furnished with preinstalled adjustable bar hangers. Junction
box is provided with four 1/2" KOs, one 3/4" KO and four Romex
knockouts with strain relief.

aluminum construction for maximum
heat dissipating air chamber on top
of the housing. Junction box could
be accessed from inside and
outside housing.
B. INNER HOUSING - Die-formed, all
aluminum construction for maximum
heat dissipation and rust protection.
Adjusts vertically in plaster frame to
accommodate 1/2" to 1-3/8" ceiling.
C. SOCKET - One vertically mounted
plug-in socket. Unitized optics
guarantees proper trim to housing
installation. Tool-less installation
adjustability from inside the housing.
D. BALLAST - Thermally protected,
current controlled ballast, will
produce full light output, increase
lamp life with no noise and flicker.
Ballast supplied is manufactured by
Advance.

E. BAR HANGERS - Preinstalled bar
hangers allow housing to be
positioned and locked at any point
within a 24" joist span. They can be
used on either long or short axis of
housing and can be shortened for
12" joists. They are designed to be
hammered directly without using
nails or screws and could be fit onto
T-Bar spline for easy installation and
quick alignment.

ship w/ electronic Energy Star
compliant ballasts.
