Transparency and Disclosures
Cost Transparency: A monthly fee per provider is charged for enabling the Meaningful Use license. The
Meaningful Use license is required for each provider to achieve Meaningful Use. Failure to pay the
monthly Meaningful Use charges can result in the removal of the Meaningful Use license and an inability
to achieve Meaningful Use.
Limitations: For each provider that is licensed for Meaningful Use, up to one Direct Messaging address can
be generated. Unlimited outbound and inbound Direct Messaging can be utilized with the Direct Address
generated for that provider. If a practice is interested in generating additional Direct Addresses beyond
what is included with their Meaningful Use license, additional charges may apply.
