FIKE Pyrotechnic Time Delay Description The Fike Time Delay Fuse is a pyrotechnic time delay device used in downhole oil and gas perforating operations. It provides the user with a safe and reliable method of delaying the perforating gun firing from the point of initiation. The Fike Time Delay Fuse can be run in Sequence allowing for greater time delays in multiples of 6 minutes. The Fike Time Delay is recommended to be used with an Energy Transfer Device (ETD) to reliably initiate the fuse using the HNS DYNAenergetics Percussion Initiator. The ETD is included in the Time Delay Sub Assembly (#2325465) and is also part of the Time Delay Sub re-dress kit (#2325441). Both the Fike Time Delay and ETD are consumables. Features Dependable 6 minute nominal delay at room temperature. Qualified with DynaEnergetics HNS Percussion Initiator. 4 minute nominal delay at 220 oC / 425 oF.
