INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CFL RETROFIT FIXTURE
26, 32, or 42 Watt Single CFL Lamp

Installs in less than 30 minutes
KEY FEATURES
2. Place the ballast through the ceiling
opening and attach it to the J-Box. For
mercury vapor, disconnect the MV
ballast before installing the Janmar
ballast.
3. Pull wires over the ceiling opening
and wire the ballast into the circuit.
Push the wires and connections into
the J-Box. Close the J-Box cover.
4. Place the mounting bridge bracket
inside the ceiling and secure each leg
to the fixture frame opening with the
tape provided. The screw in the center
of the bridge will hold the reflector in
place.
5. Push the new Janmar reflector into
the fixture opening, securing the trim
on the screw in the center of the bridge
with a wing nut.
6. Gently insert CFL lamp. When lamp
makes contact turn the lamp 1/8 turn
clockwise.
Beauty Ring improves visual appearance

Current architectural trends are to make fixture opening smaller to
minimize their appearance. Janmar’s beauty ring allow for the size of the
existing fixture opening to reduce in order to improve visual appearance
while allowing for a one size fits all solution in the field to streamline the
specification and installation method.

remove the reflector from the ceiling.
