CAPABILITIES
Deadfront switch applications
use a unique puffer-type arc
extinguishing system which
offers up to a 40kA Momentary
rating and a 61kA Fault Close
rating
Scott Engineering, Inc. designs and
manufactures a diverse line of freestanding, self-supporting pad-mounted
switchgear. The Scott Engineering
SPM and SPD low profile cabinets
offer protection and switching in circuit
configurations that meet every application requirement. We offer gangoperated switched ways that allow
easy isolation of distribution feeders for
switching, repair and maintenance.
Our SPD and SPM Switchgear is
available in 2.4kV to 38kV voltage ratings with 600 or 1200A load interruption capability with up to 40kA fault
close and 61kA momentary ratings.
Our switchgear meets the requirements of ANSI/IEEE C37.73, and
C37.74.
