OFF SEASON
CAMP RENTALS & RETREATS
Camp Wa Wa Segowea offers a rustic and
beautiful backdrop for occasions such as:
• Retreats
• Reunions
• Weddings
• Business retreats
With our traditional cabins, historic main
lodge, scenic waterfront, and 500 acres of

stresses of the modern world.
OUTDOOR EDUCATION
Our program is a multi-disciplined, hands-on
approach that can reinforce all aspects of
classroom learning. Outdoor education is a
means of curriculum enrichment through
outdoor experiences that helps to rekindle the
urge to learn back in the classroom. Our
program is based upon the YMCA of the USA’s
ICARE outdoor education program. ICARE
stands for interrelationships, cycles,
awareness, relationships, & energy flow.
The ICARE program meets the Standard
Course of Study for 4th to 6th grades for
social studies & science for many states.
SCHOOL GROUPS
We can work with you to craft a wonderful
outing, whether you’re looking for a fun day
of games and activities in the outdoors, or a
more structured curriculum focusing on the
environment, teambuilding, or another subject
of your choosing. With our cabins, we also
have the ability to house guests for overnight
and multi-day programs. Let our 500 acres
of forest, trails, waterfront and fields be your
classroom for the day. We can even include
transportation in your field trip package, using
our very own camp buses.

HOLDOVER WEEKENDS
Several of our campers choose to attend more than one session each summer.

to enjoy Camp Wa Wa Segowea’s holdover program. Holdover runs from 11:00 am
on Check-out Saturday until 2:00pm on Check-in Sunday.
TIERED TUITION FEES
Realizing that families have differing abilities to pay, Camp Wa Wa Segowea has
instituted a voluntary 4-tier pricing program for our Summer Resident Camp.
Please choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. All children have the
same experience no matter which tier a family is able to pay. The tier selected by
a family will be kept confidential.
Tier 1 - Most accurately accounts for the true cost of operating camp including
wear and tear on equipment, transportation, marketing and depreciation.
Tier 2 - A partially subsidized rate for those who can afford to pay more than just
the basic costs associated with attending camp.
Tier 3 - Covers the basic costs associated with attending camp including, food,
staff salaries and supplies.
Tier 4 - A variable rate made possible by donations to the Annual Strong Kids
Campaign, for families who have need for financial assistance. To apply, please
submit an application form along with a completed copy of the registration form.
Application forms area available online at campwawa.org.
