QUIET OPERATION
A number of elements such universal heater, tangential fan, and separate
indoor and outdoor fans ensure Haier PTACs are exceptionally quiet. The
chassis is well-sealed to help prevent the transmission of outdoor noise.
In addition, vibration-reducing rubber mounts for the compressor and a
well-insulated sleeve add to the unit’s noise reduction package.
UNIVERSAL CHASSIS
The 16” x 42” size fits all competitor 42” sleeves. The power cord, length
determined by the model’s BTU, is included. Additional power cords are
available depending on the kW Heater requirements. All this makes Haier
PTACs the clear choice for replacing an existing unit.
FRONT PANEL
A stylish, multi-position front. The angled discharge area allows for
uniform air distribution throughout the room. Access to the digital control
module and the washable filters is located on the top.

DIGITAL CONTROL MODULE
The large, easy to read control module is conveniently accessible on the
unit. You also have the option of removing it from the unit and using it
as a wired wall-mounted control thermostat, allowing for more accurate
room temperature measurement.
SLEEVE AND REAR GRILLE
These accessories are sold separately. Aluminum and Architectural
Grilles are also available.

(i) This escutcheon cover should be ordered whenever the display
module is wall mounted or third party provider unit controls are
ordered. This escutcheon includes a control cover plate that covers
the normal unit mounted nomenclature. It comes 5 pieces per pack.
(ii) Require when using a Hard Wire Kit.
(iii) Provides a space to tie into a building’s wiring with a receptacle to plug the
unit into. It gives additional leveling and support capabilities and provides a
place for fuses, a circuit breaker or a mechanical disconnect to be mounted.
(30A is for unit with 5kW electric heat, 15A and 20A for 3kW Heat).
(iv) 15, 20 and 30 AMP subbases require a socket.

UNIVERSAL HEATER
ROOM FREEZE PROTECTION
The universal heater is capable of handling
2kW, 3kW or 5kW applications. A 20 amp
power cord comes standard with the 7000,
9000, and 12000 BTU units. The 15000
BTU units come with a 30 amp power cord.
Monitors the temperature and switches on
the electric heat to ensure that the room
temperature will not drop below 40°F.
EASY-ACCESS FILTERS
VENT DOOR
Two nylon mesh, washable filters are
included to keep the unit operating
efficiently. Front panel access allows them
to be easily removed for cleaning.
The large vent door can be opened to
allow 70 or 80 CFM (depending on model)
of fresh air to enter the room when the
indoor fan is operating.
TANGENTIAL FAN
WARRANTY
The balanced tangential fan provides
symmetrical and stable airflow for quieter
operation and enhanced guest comfort.
1st year parts and labor, 2nd through 5th
year on the sealed system, limited 2nd
through 5th year functional parts only.
BUILT-IN SELF DIAGNOSTICS
The digital interface module is capable of
performing and displaying self-diagnostics
on key functions.
