Trailing cable on ac mining equipment
where service conditions are severe and
maximum safety is mandatory, such as
power shovels and draglines in open-pit
mines, quarries, gantry cranes and slag
reclaiming. Also used for medium voltage
distribution in underground mines where
frequent relocation is necessary.
Dimension and weights shown are nominal, unless otherwise indicated, and subject to
manufacturing tolerances.
FEATURES
1) Special tinned copper stranded conductors
designed for flexibility and resistance to
fatigue resulting from bending and flexing.
2) Ground check conductor facilitates fail-safe
ground monitoring for maximum safety.
3) EPR insulation offers excellent heat and moisture
resistance, outstanding corona resistance,
high dielectric strength and chemical resistance.
4) Prevulcanized thermosetting non-wicking fillers
are used if necessary to obtain a substantially
round configuration.
5) PLCV-Cured extra-heavy-duty CSPE, reinforced
with a nylon webbing, provides a tough, defense
mechanical resistant jacket.
6) Acceptance No. P-218-1-MSHA by Mines Safety
and Health Administration Approval No. P-218-1-MSHA
by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental
Resources. Meets MSHA flame test requirements.
