The First Nations Lands Management Act requires the Land Code to be
ratified. This means a majority support is required by all eligible voting
members. For example, out of approximately 1800 eligible voters–we require
approximately 550 yes votes to accept the Land Code.
This is an historic opportunity to have control of AOPFN land decisions. Please
contact us if you have any questions or to receive a copy of the Land Code,
the First Nations Lands Management Act or the Individual Agreement.
