HSNO Approved Handlers
The proper management of hazardous substances
is a critical requirement in ensuring the safety of
those handling chemicals and other substances in
the workplace.
This particular course concentrates on single component dangerous
goods and specifically listed scheduled toxic substances which have
been transferred to HSNO.
NOTE: Trainees may bring their own material safety data sheets along to these sessions so
that full understanding can be gained about the hazards associated with using them
following the HSNO default controls.

unsafe behaviour. Upon completion
of the course each student will
undertake an internal audit of their
workplace. Eight (8) weeks later they
will produce a 1.5 hour presentation
about their findings.
