Billed as “the race that’s been ruining all other 5Ks,” the Color Me Rad Maine is not your average 5K. In fact, there is nothing conventional about it. Sponsored by the local YMCA and held on August 24 in Brunswick, Maine, the Color Me Rad sent runners along a course lined by volunteers with exploding packets of brightly colored, gluten-free cornstarch. After making their way through clouds of colorful dust, runners crossed the finish line looking like they had been mugged by a rainbow — totally Rad!
