Border Control
TM
A multiple-use adhesive barrier for temporary quarantine,
pest monitoring and product protection.
Border Control is a thin, paper-backed glue board that comes in a 60foot roll. It is easy to carry, simple to deploy, and can fence off crawling
insects or mice quickly and easily. Border Control is a mechanical
control method that can be cut to fit almost any situation.
• Corral work zones. Keep small rodents or insects from crawling
away and infesting other areas.
• Monitor any area and quickly see where the trouble spots are.

Placed near to where cockroaches have been seen, the insects will

The Food Lure
How it works
Cockroaches smell the food lure and walk up the textured ramp. On
entering, they walk onto the specially designed bridge treated with
patented EntostatTM powder. The Entostat particles cling to the cockroach
feet and tarsal segments, preventing them from maintaining a grip and
causing them to fall onto the glue board below.
EntostatTM is a food-grade, non-toxic powder refined from a natural
wax, which is harvested from a particular species of palm tree. It is
slippery like automotive wax.

A FIFRA 25(b) solution that kills bed-bugs and other similar insects (such as cockroaches, ants,
millipedes, carpet beetles, silverfish, fleas, ticks) on contact, and leaves a residual on fabrics and
fibers that will continue killing for up to one full year.

• When applied directly to the pests, adults and nymphs are killed in just

THE DATA
Five studies conducted independently by Dr. Jeffrey K. Brown at the American Academy of Entomological Science,
Ridgeland, MS are summarized below. For the full report visit pestbarrier.com.
OVERVIEW
This summary is drawn from five (5) studies first began in February 2009 with the last being completed in January 2012.
Four of the six studies are lab tests. Two studies are field tests conducted at two (2) separate locations over a twelvemonth period with one of the two studies a follow-up test at one of the field locations to test residual lethality where
Cimi-Shield had been applied one year previous. We posed questions and allowed the studies to answer:
Q: Do the products comply with applicable FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act) regulation’s Section 25(b) being of
“minimal risk inert ingredients as referred to as ‘4A’ under Pesticide Registration Notice 2000-6”?
A: “...elements are exempt under EPA regulation commonly referred to as 25(b) and are found on a list of elements commonly referred to as
the ‘4A List’ and are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).”
Q: When used according to label directions is the product lethal to the insect pests specified?
A: Following label directions it was applied to...Bed Bugs, Cimex lectularius, 100% mortality within 5-10 minutes depending on life stage.
Q: Will the Academy certify that the product is nontoxic to mammals, of no harm to the environment and lethal to the identified target insects?
A: It is nontoxic to mammals. It is not harmful to the environment. It is lethal as to the identified target insects.
Q: Is the product qualified as “Exempt” under current EPA regulations and will therefore not require registration?
A: In our estimation your product will not need EPA registration as all of your components are presently categorized as exempt and there are
no restrictions as to means of transport under DOT regulations.
Q: Because 50% of infestation is in the form of hidden and untreated eggs what is the effect of residual lethality on emergent nymphs and
instars?
A: Nymphs mortality was observed at between one (1) to two (2) hours; first and second instar nymph mortality at sixty (60) % within 1.5
hours after exposure. Fifth instar nymph and adult mortality were observed between four (4) to six (6) hours after exposure; fifty (50) %
within 4.5 hours.
Q: Was there evidence of residual lethality?
A: Carcasses gave evidence of residual kill at each subsequent periodic monthly inspection.
Q: Was there material re-infestation?
A: No material re-infestation has been revealed in any subsequent periodic monthly inspection.
Q: Was any odor present in any treated area, did any stains appear or were there any signs that application had caused damage or spotting?
A: No odor was present, no stains or damage to any materials was observed.
Q: Is there residual efficacy twelve (12) months after application upon re-introduced bed bugs?
A: As to Room 1 from Group ‘A’, having been previously treated with Cimi-Shield and where UV light confirmed sufficient residual element
still in place and having had no intervening treatments or material occurrence of infestation Cimi-Shield was proven effective against reintroduced bed bugs, Cimex lectularius, where treatment had occurred more than twelve (12) months previous.
CONCLUSION
Cimi-Shield Knock-Out was an effective preventative against bed bugs, Cimex lectularius, twelve (12) months after
application per label directions.

Fume Alert
TM
Wireless, portable protection to deter criminal activity.
Fume Alert is a portable intrusion alarm system for monitoring
the status of a fumigation, and deterring intruders.
The system consists of a cellular control panel, wireless infrared
motion sensors and sirens that can be programmed to alarm
when there is activity at the job site. The panel can also notify
the fumigator by SMS Text messages when specific sensors are
triggered. Up to five cell numbers can be notified of a trigger event.
The fumigator places sensors and sirens on the outside and
inside of the structure Each sensor is assigned its own zone
number, this zone information is SMS texted when a sensor is
triggered. The system can be set up to easily alert the operator
if a sensor was triggered in an interior or exterior zone, thus
determining the level of urgency.

What does Green Eye Add to the Termite Business?
Termite treatments have always been an expensive and
mysterious part of home ownership. Behind the walls and in
dark place places difficult to reach, the homeowner worries
that tiny “white ants” will destroy their investment. They
have to trust in the fact that holes drilled in their property,
trenches dug surrounding their homes and devices buried
in their lawn will protect them. On a day-to-day basis, after

Under-Slab Monitoring, an Industry First
The center tube of the Green Eye can
be inserted into a 5/8” hole to monitor
the earth under a concrete slab. Use a
5/8” masonry bit for concrete slabs.
1. Termites are attracted to the wax-coated cellulose
that is wrapped around the bottom of the Green
Eye (under the white paper).
2. Termites randomly forage and find the wax-coated
pine plug at the bottom, and eat their way through
to the cellulose center.
3. The termites enter the plastic tube where they learn
they can control the moisture level like in a mud
tube. They hit the soft and attractive cellulose material which they consume in about 24 hours.
4. After eating most of the cellulose, the structure collapses and brass weight slides down. The “Green
Eye” disappears and the homeowner and PMP
know it’s time to act.

square shape is better suited to the entry port of a bat colony.
It is designed with a built-in solid flange with mounting holes
which allows easy and fast installation. It can also be used
with the flexible vinyl flange, making it effective for virtually
any surface application.

Pro-cone ® Round
Designed for multiple use and multiple wildlife species: Bats,
red squirrels, flying squirrels sparrows, starlings, rats and
mice. Made from heavy duty plastic, built-in solid flange with
mounting holes. Optional use with vinyl or wire flange. Works
great on Spanish Tile roofs because of its shape.

Flanges
The flexible vinyl and wire mesh flange allow for
installation on virtually any surface. The wire mesh
flange is effective in the exclusion of red and flying
squirrels, rats and mice.

Bat Net and Metal Mesh
Special knotted netting just for bats. Our 3/8” polyethylene
knotted mesh is ideal for all bat species, and is far stronger
than other nets available. The black mono-filament
withstands ultraviolet radiation extremely well, and is very
hard to see when installed in shadowed areas. Another great
feature is the large sizes available so any bat exclusion is
possible with a single sheet, eliminating the need for seams.

Stainless Steel Wire Cloth
This high quality stainless steel hardware cloth is meant for
difficult Bat exclusion projects. The mesh is on 1⁄2” centers
and offers an effective long lasting exclusion screen where
other products might fail. 5 Feet wide this mesh available
custom cut in 1 foot increments (min order 5 sq ft) and is
cut to your order. Lengths up to 100’ long are available in a
single piece. Please obtain delivery quotes for large orders.

PVC-Coated Galvanized Mesh
Black PVC coated 1/2” wire mesh offers an effective long
lasting exclusion screen where other products might fail.
Four feet wide this mesh is available in customs cuts in
1 foot increments. Also available in two standard rolls 6”
x 100’ and 12’ x 100’ for larger jobs. It can be bent into
custom shapes.
