Summer Program Description

Introduction

Olympiads School’s summer program prepares students for the following academic year. The goal is not only for students to do well in school, but also to have a solid foundation to prepare for future courses and contests. The following are several features of our summer program.

Same year or level courses are usually grouped together for your convenience

 i.e. grade 8 Math, grade 8 English, and grade 8 Science courses are arranged one after another on the same day.

Complete the entire course within the summer session of July and August

Math and Science: 24 classes each

French and English: 26 classes each (Last two classes will be on Sat. Aug. 27 and

Sun. Aug. 28 – time TBA)

Complete part of the course in the summer and continue in the fall (Sept.- Oct.)

2 times a week in the summer and once a week in the fall

Math and Science: 18 classes each (Last two classes will be on Sat. Aug. 27 and

Sun. Aug. 28 – time TBA)

French and English: 26 classes each o 16 classes in the summer o 10 classes in the fall

Public Speaking o 8 classes (once a week) o 16 classes (twice a week) o All classes continue once a week in the fall

Program Description

Lesson Component - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Tutorial Component - Tuesdays and Thursdays

Due to the intensity of the program, teachers will help students with their homework and clarify any confusing concepts.

If students finish their homework early, they can participate in fun activities.

 Tuesday’s and Thursday’s camp is not mandatory. Students can register for only the lesson component on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays if this is more suitable.
