LIQUID POLYMER FEEDER
The EXCELL Series 6000PC Polymer Feeder
provides the high energy needed to activate all types
of liquid polymers.
The metering pump is a
progressive cavity type pump.
The main benefits of using the progressive cavity
type pumps are:
* High pump reliability.
* Pump is check valve free. Pump check
valves require frequent cleaning.
* Pump capacity to over 700 GPD is available.
* Pump can be used to generate up to 150 psi.
Polymer Activation Apparatus
The EXCELL activates polymer through a patented,
motor-less, high energy, activation apparatus.
The apparatus uses the energy available in the water
flow to activate all types of liquid polymers.
The polymer is activated as it passes through the high
turbulence generated by the patented orifice.
The pressure required to operate the apparatus is less
than 10 psi.
The orifice opening automatically compensates for
solution flow changes. This assures that the polymer
activation energy level remains adequate for the flow
range of the feeder.
The activation apparatus components are made of
corrosion resistant thermoplastics.
The system is
assembled with stainless steel rods and o-rings. It can
be easily disassembled for quick repairs.
Self Cleaning Sight Tube
The activated polymer solution flows through a
patented, self cleaning sight tube, before it exits the
feeder. The sight tube allows the operator to see that
the feeder is operating properly.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
* The pump has an all stainless steel body, a Viton lined stator, and a mechanical seal.
* The feeder operates with potable or filtered process dilution water at 30 to 100 psi (2 to 6.9 Bar).
* The water flow switch stops the polymer pump when the water flow drops below minimum.
* The frame is made of welded stainless steel. Frame dimensions are: 18” x 30” x 36” tall.
* The external injection valve is accessible without disturbing the activation apparatus.
All components are modular and easy to access.
* Operating voltage is 120 VAC. Power consumption is less than 10 Amps.
* The PC pump is recommended for use only with gravity supply systems.
The pump cannot be run dry or it will be damaged.
AVAILABLE OPTIONS
* Dilution water flow capacity of 10, 20, 30 40, 60, 80, or 100 GPM.
* Modulating, remote controlled, motor operated water flow control valve.
* Pump controller that can accept a 4-20 mA signal. Digital display indicates pump flow.
* H-O-A Switch to allow remote start-stop control.
* Timer to allow a flush cycle.
* Pump speed controlled by the dilution water flow. This maintains solution concentration.
* Contacts for remote indication of Alarm, Pump Run, or Auto Mode.
* Low polymer flow alarm. The switch uses a thermal dispersion type sensor, with no moving parts.
The trip point is adjustable down to 5 GPD (0.8 L/H).
* In-line aging tank. Tanks have a polyethylene liner and are fiberglass reinforced.
They are rated for 125 psi (8.5 Bar). No additional level controls or pumps are needed.
* Voltages other than 120 VAC are available.
* Custom designed to meet your needs.
