DEVELOP SKILLS FOR SUCCESS IN THIS GROWING INDUSTRY. Technology for climate control and energy efficiency is
advancing rapidly—and so are career opportunities in this industry. Through this program, you’ll gain practical, hands-on training
in all aspects of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and refrigeration. In addition, this affordable two-semester program
will introduce you to green technologies such as solar, with the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art labs designed and built
by Siemens Energy Management. Build in-demand skills that can help you get started in the workforce—or spark professional
growth if you’re already employed in the industry.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning certificate program is designed
both for students seeking an entry-level position as a preventative maintenance
mechanic or installation/service technician, and for people who are currently
employed in the industry. Coursework covers motors, electronics, pumps,
ventilation, and refrigeration technologies.
Students interested in this program may also be interested in the
Solar Thermal Technology Certificate or the Air Conditioning Technology:
