Specifications
The System 3 Voltage Regulator Module (Model
DC-35S) from Siemens ─ Fire Safety is designed to
provide filtered, VDC power from the bridge-only,
unfiltered, and unregulated VDC output power of
the power supply (Model PS-35S).
A voltage regulator module shall be provided to
supply filtered, regulated power to pre-action /
deluge sprinkler release valves. The module shall
be a Siemens ─ Fire Safety Model DC-35S.
The Voltage Regulator Module provides regulated
power to the Model RM-30─series release modules
for pre-action / deluge sprinkler releasing
applications that are Factory Mutual Approved.
Model DC-35S, which is placement supervised
within System 3, features a Power ON LED and a
fused input. Although the module contains a
potentiometer for precise output-voltage
adjustments, the output is factory configured to
not exceed the limit required for proper function
of System 3.
The regulated power shall be initially routed
through the Siemens ─ Fire Safety Transfer
Module (Model TC-30U), accommodating battery
back-up requirements. The regulated power shall
then be sent through the Model RM-30─series
release modules, which connects and controls the
electronic solenoid pilot valve on the pre-action /
deluge sprinkler releasing system.
Model DC-35S shall receive bridge-only,
unfiltered, and unregulated VDC output power
from the Model PS-35S Power Supply. The output
rating of Model DC-35S shall be 0.75 Amps.

The System 3 Voltage Regulator Module is UL
864 9th Edition Listed for indoor dry locations
within a temperature range of 120+/-3°F
(49+/-2°C) to 32+/-3°F (0+/-2°C) and a relative
humidity of 93+/-2% at a temperature of 90+/-3°F
(32+/-2°C).
