P/N: F100-2800-2
The most important thing we build is trust
Cobham’s, easy to use Test-A-Pack 2800
Multifunction Package Tester is an advanced
on-board PC based package testing system
capable of testing a wide range of flexible,
rigid, porous and non-porous containers.
The 2800 Multifunctional Tester, a seal
strength and leak integrity tester, performs up
to 8 distinct tests, can be networked, stores
test setups and test results, allows you to
define fields for sorting data, and is barcode
scanning capable… all this and more with the
same ease of use Test-A-Pack systems are
known for.
The 2800 performs the following tests:
• Mass Flow Leak Test
• Mass Flow to Burst
• Pressure Decay (ASTM F2095)
• Pressure Decay to Burst
• Creep Test (ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054,
F2096)
• Stepped Creep Test
• Dual Test -Creep to Burst Test (ASTM
F1140, ASTM F2054)
• Burst Test (ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054)
Used with our patented open package leak
test fixture, the 2800 can test non-porous
pouches for leaks before they are sealed.

Setup Interface
Test-A-Pack package testers are unique for their
ease of use. The F100-2800-2 user-friendly
setup window allows the operator flexibility in
choosing test modes, test parameters, units of
measure and pressurization profiles. Factory
set pressurization rates can be altered by the
operator to accommodate any size, shape or
type of package. Time and date, package lot
identifiers, operator identification and machine
identifiers can be archived on the internal
hard drive or exported via USB 2.0 interface to
external devices..

Test Pressure Profile
Simply press the “Run Test” button on the
touch screen to initiate testing. The 14 bit
digital acquisition system of the F100-2800-2
accurately measures pressures and flows and
allows the operator a real-time graphic view
of the package under test. The Pressure Profile
Screen can be saved for lot-to-lot comparison.
The Performance Graph scales automatically
to twice the set pressure for ease of viewing.
RUN TEST!
Test Data Results
Test results are stored in a large database
with unique filenames for each product
type tested. The part is identified by a time
date stamp, operator identifier, lot identifier
and machine number. The test results can
easily be sorted by time, date, operator, lot
number, machine number or combinations
of the same. The original test data is stored
internally and cannot be altered in any way.
When a sufficient number of tests have been
completed, basic statistics are displayed for
the entire data file or for sorted data files.
