LIFEFORM 9
The LIFEFORM 9 corrosion-resistant, anodized-aluminum underwater LED was specifically designed for freshwater
environments. For permanently submerged and brackish and saltwater applications, please see our stainless-steel TITAN
fixtures. The light can also be paired with LIFEFORM’s unique interchangeable bezel caps - bright dip anodized aluminum
rings. The caps come in five different color options, designed to match the exterior hull of boats. When the caps are used
there are no visible mounting holes, ensuring that the lights look great in and out of the water.
The LIFEFORM 9 is a nine LED configuration underwater light that produces an output of 2,637 lumens, making it one of the
brightest LED lights in this class. The LIFEFORM 9 is constructed with a tempered-glass face (superior to commonly used
plastic polycarbonate lenses) and housed in a one-piece, marine-grade, anodized-aluminum body making it 100% waterproof
and impact resistant. Water World’s LEDs can be self-installed in less than two hours and unlike most competitive products,
only a ½-inch hole is required to mount them to a transom, hull of flat surface. The least intrusive installation in the industry
and highly-important to boat owners, the LED’s heat is dissipated outside the vessel instead of in the transom or hull.
The LIFEFORM 9 draws 2.7 amps at 12-volt DC and 1.4 amps at 24-DC and has a LED lifespan of 40,000+ hours. The
LIFEFORM 9 draws minimal power from a boat, allowing the LEDs to stay brighter for longer. The LIFEFORM 9 also comes
equipped with reverse polarity protection, dual thermal control, a proprietary dual-thermal control that constantly monitors
temperature over 2,000 x per second (dims to prevent out-of-water overheating) and a soft start feature for added
efficiency. A boat will run longer on the battery without the generator or motor running, resulting in a quieter, more peaceful
boating and fishing experience.
The LIFEFORM 9’s unique beam angle technology also provides superior light penetration and dispersion. Three center LEDs
use an 18-degree lens creating a concentrated beam of light that penetrates out. The remaining six outer LEDs use a 34degree lens for wider light dispersion. The LIFEFORM 9 is not only one of the brightest lights in this class, but also one of the
most efficient.
