It provides a clean sight line appearance
across the top of the panels, doors, and

FORUM
Ceiling Hung
The CH-700 Forum Ceiling Hung style is ideal
for restroom maintenance, as it provides
unobstructed floor space underneath the
stalls, especially when you combine this
design with wall mounted fixtures. These
ceiling-supported pilasters are appropriate
for drop and span-type ceiling systems.
Similar to this configuration, we can also
provide a floor to ceiling pilaster style (not
shown) that provides the utmost in strength
and durability.
The CH-700 Forum Ceiling Hung configuration

complete head-to-toe coverage, which
meets the stringent standards required by

POWDER SHIELD
STAINLESS STEEL
PLASTIC LAMINATE
Powder coated steel is popular for its economy and
durability. The galvanneal steel provides strong
adhesion for a durable smooth powder painted
finish. This surface is three times more resistant to
humidity and salt spray than solvent based painted
finishes. It’s easier to clean, and is available in
many colors. System features emergency outside
access to stall.
Stainless steel lends a feeling of luxury and a
modern appearance to any restroom environment.
Stainless steel proves to be a wise selection for its
ease of cleaning, durability, and resistance to humid
conditions. Optional solid plywood core provides for
an extra strong virtually vandal proof installation.
Beautiful appearance with tremendous flexibility.
Plastic laminate requires minimal care, coupled
with low initial cost. The finish is available in many
designer colors and wood grain textures to appeal
to any decorating taste, and will resist any
cosmetic damage. Hardware features emergency
outside access to stall.
(Powder CoatED Baked Enamel)
Construction features 1” thick doors and panels,
1-1/4” pilasters, constructed of two sheets of
galvanneal steel, formed and cemented under
pressure to a honeycomb core. All edges are
finished with 20-gauge interlocking steel moldings.
Corners are welded and finished with pre-formed
stainless steel reinforcements. Doors feature steel
reinforcements to secure hardware items, with
“in-use” indicator latch. Rust inhibitive coated
material is painted with multiple coats of epoxyhybrid powder, applied electrostatically and baked
until cured. Standard wall fittings are chromeplated die-cast zamac.

Standard construction features 1” thick doors and
panels, 1-1/4” pilasters, constructed of type 304
stainless steel, formed and cemented under
pressure to a double faced honeycomb core.
All edges are finished with a 20-gauge stainless
steel interlocking molding. Corners are welded
internally and are finished with pre-formed stainless
steel reinforcements. Doors have internal steel
reinforcements to secure hardware items, and
come equipped with the “in-use” color-coded
indicator. Wall fittings are chrome plated die-cast
zamac. All flat stainless surfaces are provided with
a #4 satin finish. Hardware features emergency
outside access to stall.
Options Include:

Doors and panels are nominal 1” (7/8”), pilasters
1-1/4”, and are constructed of high-pressure
decorative laminate over 3-ply core, resinimpregnated, 45-pound density particleboard.

SOLID PLASTIC HDPE
Our Solid Plastic material provides an excellent
choice for high traffic and vandalism-prone
restrooms. It is ideal for high humidity areas, or
where hose-down cleaning methods are used. All
doors, panels, and pilasters are constructed of 1”
solid plastic High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
This material features homogeneous color and
material compound throughout. Our Solid Plastic
is scratch, dent, and graffiti resistant, and will
never rust. Our standard hinge is an integral
hinge system. We offer 25 popular colors, with a
choice of either heavy gauge stainless steel shoes
and full-length aluminum brackets, or matching
plastic shoes and matching full-length plastic
brackets. The plastic shoes and brackets are
non-absorbent and corrosion proof, plus the fulllength bracket strengthens the installation.
Hardware features emergency access to stall.
This type of material construction is perfect for
schools, stadiums, office buildings, parks,
airports, or any high-traffic washroom.
Options Include:
• Full height s.s. multi-cam hinge
Solid Phenolic is a unique material designed
especially for full water contact. It is ideal for high
humidity areas, or where hose-down cleaning
methods are used. The superior strength of
phenolic offers many advantages, including overall
damage resistance. Phenolic exceeds the Fire
Protection Association’s recommendation for smoke
production. The finish is available in hundreds of
designer colors and wood grain textures to appeal
to any decorating taste. Hardware features
emergency outside access to stall.
Solid Phenolic doors and pilasters are 3/4” thick,
panels are 1/2” thick, and come with a class-B
fire rating. All edges are polished and beveled.
Wall and pilaster brackets are 13-gauge, type
304 stainless steel. Stainless steel surface
hinges are standard. All hardware and fittings are
stainless steel.

Extruded Aluminum
PRIVACY Strips
Eliminates any sight gap on either side of the door.

These tough extruded aluminum strips can be
added to existing Powder Shield (powder coated)
partitions and Stainless Steel partition layouts, or
can be ordered with new partitions. The latch side
strip includes a full size rubber continuous stop,
with a precentered concealed latch receiver slot.
Counter-sunk pre-drilled holes are conveniently
placed every 8”, and attachment screws are
included. The hinge side strip fits between the
upper and lower standard hinges. The strips are
added to the pilasters, allowing the door to
remain standard. You can order your partitions
with Metpar’s privacy strips, or you can add it to
existing layouts.

Metpar LEED Information Statement
Metpar is committed to environmentally based, responsible practices in the manufacture of our line of
Toilet Partitions and related products. To that end, Metpar is proud to publish the following information
on how our various products qualify for LEED Certification points.
®
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is a
voluntary standard for developing environmentally responsible, low emission, high-performance,
sustainable buildings. It was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, under contract with the US
Department of Energy.
Individual materials and products used in Buildings are not certified. The certification process is for the
entire construction project. Building products can only contribute to earning points in various categories.
The project earns “points” towards becoming certified. The categories where points can accumulate for
Metpar products are listed on the chart below. LEED provides a complete framework for assessing
building performance and meeting sustainability goals. Based on well-founded scientific standards,
LEED emphasizes state-of-the-art strategies for sustainable site development. Using the point based
system, building owners can measure their success in environmental stewardship. USGBC has
developed several “products” – LEED-NC (New Construction), LEED-EB (Existing Building), LEED-CI
(Commercial Interiors) and LEED for schools.
The categories where points can accumulate for Metpar products are as follows:
Recycled Content: LEED V3.0 awards points for buildings that contain recycled, salvaged, reused, or refurbished
materials, with points awarded as a function of the total building material weights (10% = 1 point, 20% = 2 points).
Credit is based on the sum of post-consumer recycled material + ½ of post-industrial recycled material. This
contributes to Credits 4.1 & 4.2 of the “Materials & Resources” area.
Local Regional Materials: LEED V3.0 awards 1 point if 20% of the building materials are manufactured (final

Providing additional stability. Bottom of doors are level with bottom of pilasters with no protruding hardware.
FITTINGS:
All connections at pilaster-to-wall and panel-to-wall shall be secured with full height 54” (1372mm) bright anodized
aluminum brackets. Panel-to-pilaster connections will use 70” (1778mm) brackets. All screws shall be non-ferrous,
with a tamper-proof pin head.
HARDWARE:
All doors mounted on 5” (127mm) or wider pilasters shall have integral hinges with nylon cams that can be adjusted from
closed to varying open positions. All doors mounted on 4” (100mm) or less width pilasters shall have 54” (1372mm)
#304, 16 gauge stainless steel Multi-Cam hinges. The Multi-Cam hinges shall be fastened with six tamper-proof pin
head fasteners at each leaf. The door stop shall consist of a wrap-around strike and keeper, ADA approved and
emergency access. The door lock shall be an aluminum (bright/polished finish) surface slide latch. Door pulls and coat hooks
shall be supplied as required.

pressure to a honeycomb core. Door face sheets are welded at intervals around the entire perimeter. All edges to be
finished with a 20-gauge interlocking molding. Corners are finished with pre-formed painted stainless steel (type 304)
reinforcements. Corners are to be welded internally to ensure that the galvanized rust resistant coating is not removed.
Doors shall have internal steel reinforcements to secure hardware items.
Panels:
Finished to 1" (25.4) thick, constructed of 2 sheets of 20-gauge bonderized, galvanized steel, formed and cemented under
pressure to a honeycomb core. All partition edges are finished with a 20-gauge interlocking molding. Corners are finished

Finished to 1 ¼" (31.75) thick, constructed of two sheets of 18-gauge, bonderized, galvanized steel, formed and assembled
with a honeycomb core. Face sheets are electrically welded at intervals around the entire perimeter. All pilasters will have a
3" (76.2) high #4 finish stainless steel plinth (type 304) and have straight, flat sides with rounded edges to match the pilaster
profile. Mounting channels are 12-gauge steel formed and electrically welded to the pilaster face sheets. Zinc plated 3/8"
(9.52) diameter studs, lock washers, and nuts are provided.
FITTINGS:
Wall fittings are die cast chrome plated. Minimum of two fittings at each connection.
HARDWARE:
Each compartment will be complete with all hardware, door hinges, latch, stop and keeper, coat hook, as well as all
necessary fittings and fastenings for a complete installation. Hinges and door strikes are fastened by means of tamperproof Torx-Pin Head through bolts, which are polished chrome plated. All other screws to be tamper-proof Torx-Pin
Head chrome plated. Doors are to be hung on a concealed, "stay-set", fully adjustable, non-rising door mechanism.
Upper hinge pin shall be 3/8" (9.525) diameter steel. All hinges will have wrap-around flanges with a minimum of 5/8"

CONSTRUCTION:
Doors:
Finished to 1" (25.4) thick, constructed of two sheets of 22-gauge stainless steel formed and cemented under
pressure to a honeycomb core. Door face sheets are welded at intervals around the entire perimeter. All edges to be
finished with a 20-gauge stainless steel interlocking molding. Corners are finished with pre-formed stainless steel
(type 304) reinforcements. Doors shall have internal steel reinforcements to secure hardware items.
Panels:
Finished to 1" (25.4) thick, constructed of 2 sheets of 20-gauge stainless steel, formed and cemented under pressure
to a honeycomb core. All partition edges are finished with a 20-gauge stainless steel interlocking molding. Corners will
be finished with pre-formed stainless steel (type 304) reinforcements.
Pilasters:
Finished to 1¼" (31.75) thick, constructed of two sheets of 18-gauge stainless steel, formed and assembled with a
honeycomb core. Face sheets are electrically welded at intervals around the entire perimeter. All pilasters will have a 3"
(76.2) high #4 finish stainless steel plinth (18-8 type 304) and have straight, flat sides with rounded edges to match the
pilaster profile. Mounting channels are 12-gauge steel formed and electrically welded to the pilaster face sheets. Zinc plated
3/8" (9.52) diameter studs, lock washers and nuts are provided.
FITTINGS:
and pilaster attachment brackets are die cast chrome plated stirrup brackets with a minimum of two (2) brackets per.
HARDWARE:
Each compartment will be complete with all hardware, door hinges, latch, stop and keeper, coat hook, as well as all
necessary fittings and fastenings for a complete installation. Hinges and door strikes are fastened by means of tamperproof Torx-Pin Head through bolts, which are polished chrome plated. All other screws to be tamper-proof Torx-Pin
Head chrome plated. Doors are to be hung on a concealed, "stay-set", fully adjustable, non-rising door mechanism.

with square edges to match the pilaster profile. Pilasters are to be secured to the floor by a 3/8" (9.525) steel anchor
bar mechanism fastened to cylindrical anchors implanted through the complete thickness of the pilaster. Tension nuts are
used to apply equal and opposite pressure to all points of mounting system. Zinc plated 3/8" (9.525) diameter studs,
lockwashers, nuts and lead expansion shields are provided.
BRACKETS:
Wall and pilaster-to-panel fittings are chrome-plated zamac die castings. All connections must be with 1-ear or 2-ear
brackets using a minimum of three (3) per connection.
DOOR HARDWARE:
Each compartment will be complete with all hardware, 2 door hinges, latch, stop and keeper, coat hook, as well as all
necessary fittings and fastenings for a complete installation. Hinges and door strikes are fastened by means of tamperproof Torx Pin Head through bolts, which are polished chrome plated. All other screws to be tamper-proof Torx Pin Head
chrome plated. Doors are to be hung on concealed gravity hinges. Upper hinge shall use a 3/8" (9.525) diameter steel pin.
All hinges will have wrap-around flanges with a minimum of 5/8" (15.875) wrap onto all pilasters. Stainless steel privacy

Doors and partitions are manufactured from solid phenolic materials. Laminating to a core material is not an acceptable
alternative. All edges are beveled and polished. Phenolic is Class-B fire rated based on E-84 Tunnel testing; NFPA
No. 255 and U.L. No. 723. Doors will have a rabbet edge on the strike side to mate with a coinciding rabbet edge on
the pilaster to eliminate any gaps. Door hinge sides will eliminate any gaps with a full height MultiCam® hinge.
Pilasters:
Pilasters are manufactured from solid phenolic materials. Laminating to a core material is not an acceptable
alternative. All edges are beveled and polished. Phenolic is Class-B fire rated based on E-84 Tunnel testing; NFPA
No. 255 and U.L. No. 723. Pilasters are to be secured to concrete floor with type 304 stainless steel floor mounting clips.
All pilasters will have a 3" (76.2) high #4 finish stainless steel plinth and have straight, flat sides to match pilaster
profile. Anodized aluminum headrail, .050" (1.27) wall thickness, with anti-grip profile, will brace the top of the pilasters.
Where any pilaster meets the strike side of a door will have a rabbet edge to eliminate any gaps.
BRACKETS:
Wall and pilaster brackets are 13 gauge stainless steel. All connections use 1-ear or 2-ear stirrup brackets with a minimum
of three (3) per connection.
DOOR HARDWARE:
Each compartment will be complete with all stainless steel surface mounted hardware including; 63” MultiCam® hinges,
latch, coat hook, as well as all the necessary fittings and fastenings for a complete installation. The door stop shall consist of
a surface mounted stainless steel strike & keeper coupled with the full height rabbet edge on the door and pilaster. Fasteners
are chrome-plated brass through bolts with tamper-proof Torx Pin heads. MultiCam® hinges are 16 gauge stainless steel.
Remaining door hardware, such as the surface latch, S&K are cast stainless steel.
OPTIONAL FEATURES:
Aluminum curtain track, glides and curtains. Phenolic dressing seats. Full height stainless steel angles and U-brackets.
Class-A rated solid phenolic material. Flat stainless steel privacy strips can be provided in lieu of a rabbet edge.

materials compressed at pressures exceeding 1000 p.s.i. at 256 degrees Fahrenheit
resulting in a solid, dense, water resistant product. All edges to be black.

Doors............. Finished thickness to ¾" (19.05mm)
Panels............. Finished thickness to ½" (12.7mm)

door positioning cam and pintle to be made from nylon with a stainless steel pin encased in nylon. Pin must be held in
position with snap ring design. Strike & keeper to be 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. Coat hook & bumper to be 304
stainless steel.

POWDER SHIELD and Dur-A-Tex™

The finish of the material is a baked epoxy hybrid coating, similar to an automotive finish. To clean it,
wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. To maintain the high quality
finish, we recommend waxing with an automotive type product.
Under no circumstances should any of the following be used;
Abrasive powders or pads, any cleaner containing chlorine or chlorine agents, water closet cleansers,
ceramic tile cleansers, solutions containing more than 1% by volume of ammonia, solutions containing
acids or lye, solutions containing enzymes.
Should there be any deviation from these guidelines Metpar will not accept responsibility for product
failure.
GENERAL CARE & MAINTENANCE
STAINLESS STEEL TOILET PARTITIONS and SHOWERS
Routine cleaning; use soap, ammonia or detergent and water. Sponge the surface with a cloth, then
rinse with clear water and wipe dry.
Smears & fingerprints; use Arcal 20, Lac-O-Nu, Lumin Wash, O'Cedar Cream Polish or Stainless
Shine. Rub the surface with a cloth as directed on the package.
Stubborn spots, stains & other light discolorations; use Allchem Concentrated Cleaner Samae,
Twinkle, Camaeo Copper Cleaner, Grade FFF Italian Pumice Whiting, Steel Bright, Lumin Cleaner,
Zud, Retoro, Sta-Clean, Highlite Cooper's Stainless Steel Cleaner, Revere Stainless Steel Cleaner.
Apply with a damp sponge or cloth. Then rinse with clear water and wipe dry. Or... You can also use
Household cleansers such as Old Dutch, Lighthouse, Sunbrite, Wyandotte, Bab-O, Gold Dust, Sapolio,
Bon Ami or Comet. For these household cleansers, rub with a damp cloth. They may contain chlorine
bleaches, so rinse thoroughly after use and wipe dry. Or... You can also use Liquid NuSteel, Paste
NuSteel or Dubois Temp. For these products, rub the surface with a dry cloth using only a small
amount of cleanser. Rinse with water and dry.
Heat tint or heavy discoloration; use Penny-Brite, Copper Brite, Paste Nu-Steel, Dubois Temp or
Tarnite and rub onto surface with a dry cloth. Or... You can also use Revere Stainless Steel Cleaner,
Allen Polish, Steel Bright, Wyandotte, Bab-O or Zud. For these cleansers, apply with a damp sponge or
cloth, rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
Tenacious deposits, rust discoloration, industrial atmospheric stains; use Oakite No 33 Dilac, Texo
NY, Flash-Klenz, Caddy Cleaner, Turco Scale 4368 or Permag 57. Swab and soak with a clean cloth.
Let stand 15 minutes or more according to directions on package. Then rinse and wipe dry.
Rust discoloration or corrosion caused by cleaning agents containing hydrochloric (muriatic) acid or
chlorine bleach; use 3M Scotch Bright Pad, type A Grade "Fine". Clean off the surface soil using
cleaning methods above. Then rub discolored or corroded areas lightly with dry pad. Should there be
any deviation from these guidelines, Metpar will not accept responsibility for product failure.

PLASTIC LAMINATE & PHENOLIC TOILET PARTITIONS
DO NOT hose down plastic laminate material! Severe damage may result.
Only solid core phenolic may be hose cleaned.
For normal cleaning, wipe the surface with a dampened cloth or sponge using a mild soap or detergent.
General purpose household cleansers such as Pinesol© are also effective. NOTE: Abrasive cleansers or
powders should not be used. They can damage the laminate and make it susceptible to staining.
A periodic application of a cleaner wax will help minimize future staining.
Take care when using indelible inks such as a felt marking pen. To remove such stains, use full strength
Pinesol© or a household spray cleaner and allow it to draw out the stain. Blot away with a damp cloth,
then rinse. Solvents such as denatured alcohol may also be used. CAUTION: Most solvents are
extremely flammable; keep away from flame or electrical sparks. Chlorine bleach may be used by
dampening a cloth sparingly and blotting onto the stained area for no longer than a minute. Then wipe
with warm water and dry.
BEWARE: A growing number of cleansers are formulated with harsh chemicals that can have a severe
effect on laminates. Every precaution should be taken to protect your laminate surfaces from such
chemicals commonly found in rust removers, metal and oven cleaners, drain and toilet bowl cleaners.
Never put such cleaners on laminate surfaces. Spills from these acid or caustic-based products will etch,
corrode and permanently discolor the laminate if allowed to remain on the surface. Inadvertent spills
should be wiped off immediately and the area wiped with warm water.

POLLY® SPR – HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE
Polly® SPR may be hose cleaned. For normal cleaning, wipe Polly® with a damp cloth or sponge,
using mild soap or detergent. ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR POWDERS SHOULD NOT BE USED.
They can damage or change the finish of the material.

repair or replace such material without charge.
2) For panels, door and pilasters (stiles) in our Dur-A-Tex™ material; Metpar extends a three (3)
year warranty from the date of purchase when materials are used in a normal application and
properly installed, used and serviced. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or exchange of
defective material and does not include field labor charges. Metpar, at its sole option, can either
repair or replace such material without charge. Hardware for Dur-A-Tex™ partitions is covered
under Metpar's one year warranty.
3) For panels, door and pilasters (stiles) in our Solid Phenolic material; Metpar extends a ten (10)
year warranty from the date of purchase against breakage, corrosion, delamination and defects in
factory workmanship when materials are used in a normal application and properly installed,
used and serviced. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or exchange of defective material
and does not include field labor charges. Metpar, at its sole option, can either repair or replace
such material without charge. Hardware for phenolic partitions is covered under Metpar's one
year warranty.
4) For panels, doors and pilasters (stiles) in our Polly® SPR (aka solid plastic or HDPE) material;
Metpar extends a fifteen (15) year warranty from the date of purchase against breakage and
defects in factory workmanship as well as a lifetime warranty against delamination and rusting
when materials are used in a normal application and properly installed, used and serviced. This
warranty is limited to the repair and/or exchange of defective material and does not include field
labor charges. Metpar, at its sole option, can either repair or replace such material without
charge. Hardware for Polly partitions is covered under Metpar's one year warranty.
