An internationally recognized expert
on philanthropy, Dr. Osili frequently
speaks across the country on
issues related to national and
international trends in philanthropy
and has been quoted by national
news media outlets such as The
New York Times, the Chronicle of Philanthropy
and National Public Radio.
Dr. Osili leads the Indiana University Lilly Family
School of Philanthropy’s extensive research
program, leading its partnerships with Bank of
America, United Way Worldwide, Global Impact,
Coutts, National Collegiate Athletic Association
and other institutions. Dr. Osili provides guidance
for the research for Giving USA, which is
published by Giving USA Foundation. She also
directs the School’s signature research project,
the Philanthropy Panel Study (PPS). PPS is the
largest and most comprehensive study of the
philanthropy of American families over time, and
is conducted in partnership with the University
of Michigan’s Panel Study of Income Dynamics
(PSID). She has also led an inaugural report on
global trends in Million Dollar Gifts in six countries.
In addition to her appointment at the Indiana
University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy,
Dr. Osili is a Professor of Economics and
Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University Purdue
University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) and is a member of
the graduate school faculty at Indiana University.

may transfer your registration to another member of your choice by June
27. Otherwise, a letter must be presented on site. Transfers outside your
organization require prior written approval by your immediate supervisor
and APRA Headquarters, and may require an additional processing fee.

night, plus tax, for a single room. Mention you are with the APRA

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is conveniently located in the
heart of the Strip. Experience Las Vegas luxury with restaurants

Should you need to cancel your conference registration, a letter must
be sent to the APRA Headquarters office requesting a refund. This
letter must be received on or before June 27 to receive a refund,
less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after June
27. Unused funds can be applied to the next year’s conference.
If APRA cannot hold the conference due to acts of God, war,
government regulation, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment
of transportation or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal
or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each
pre-paid registrant will receive a copy of conference handouts
and any other materials that would have been distributed.
Fixed conference expenses will be paid from the pre-registration
funds. APRA is not responsible for any other costs incurred
by pre-registrants in connection with the conference.
General Information
Attire
Business casual attire is recommended. Because room
temperatures can vary, please consider dressing in layers.
Meals
Workshop and symposia registration includes beverages and snacks
during breaks. Lunch is not included in the workshop registration, or
the first day of the Data Analytics or New Researchers Symposia.
Full conference registration includes the Opening Reception on
Wednesday evening; continental breakfast on Thursday, Friday
and Saturday; lunch on Thursday and Friday and refreshment
breaks on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Special dietary requests must be submitted in writing to APRA
headquarters at least two weeks before the conference.
Special Needs
If you have any special needs, as addressed by the Americans
with Disabilities Act, notify APRA headquarters at least
two weeks before the conference. APRA will endeavor to
accommodate your requests. It is important to also notify the
hotel of these needs when making your room reservation.
Registration
Registration forms will not be processed without payment. Full
Conference registration includes admission to seven sessions. APRA
requests that attendees pre-select sessions to reserve a seat in your
chosen educational sessions. You may alter your selections at any time;
however, requests for session changes are subject to session availability.
Remember, your membership must be current to receive the
discounted rate for the conference. Please allow approximately 10
days processing time if you are joining APRA before registering for the
conference. New members may join online for quicker processing.
