A 1-day Bootcamp will be held on June 2 (Thu), and there will be insightful and useful opportunities to learn about marketing
strategies and travel markets through case studies and business models. In the Start-Up Pitch, which is a business presentation
competition for start-ups, entrepreneurs will be coached by investors and business leaders, and will be selected to present at the
conference the following day.

At the conference to be held on June 3 (Fri), leaders in the online travel industry from Japan, North Asia, and the rest of the world
will engage in intense and passionate discussion about what's happening in the market today.
WIT JAPAN was first held the year following the devastating earthquake and tsunami disaster that hit Japan in order to revitalize the
country's travel industry. It is an international conference that is highly recognized for its active discussions of the latest market
trends and tasks. It invites major players in the online travel industry (e.g. travel agents, car rental companies, taxi companies, railway
operators, airlines, hotels and Japanese-style hotels, etc.) as speakers and panelists for its events. The fourth WIT Japan was held in
2015 under the theme of A New Dawn Rises and attracted a record 450 participants from 18 countries, with a particularly large
contingent coming from Japan, Korea and other parts of North Asia.
How people make their travel arrangements has been changing from offline to online, through mobile devices, and apps. Travel
bookings and technology now go hand in hand. At WIT JAPAN & NORTH ASIA 2016, we will discuss market trends in the travel
industry in Asia and particularly Northeast Asia from a global perspective. We look forward to seeing you there.
