Thank you for your interest in Bissinger’s historic new Chocolate Factory. We are looking forward to showing you the art and craft of creating our award-winning fine confections. The tour will highlight the company’s 350-year history, our artisan techniques, and discuss the chocolate-making process with a sampling of our delicious chocolate at the end of the tour.
Tours are free of charge, approximately 45 minutes long and available Monday, Wednesday and

. The maximum number of guests per tour is 12. If there are more than 12 in attendance, the group will be divided and follow each other in 15 minute increments. For groups with children, we ask there be one adult per six children. If there are children under the age of five, the child must be held or strapped in a stroller at all times. Is the tour handicap accessible? Yes it is.
Do I need to schedule in advance? We schedule our tours on a first come first serve basis. You will need to contact Margaret Kelly at discoverchocolate@bissingers.com or 314.615.2436 to schedule your tour in advance.
Can I schedule a tour on days and times not indicated?
Unfortunately, these are the best times for our trained tour guides and chocolatiers.
Can I schedule a private tour? Yes, for groups of 12 or more. Maximum group size is 24 people.
Why is there a limit to 12 guests per tour? We find this size gives guests the optimum Bissinger’s Tour experience.
Can I schedule a tour on the weekend?
The Chocolate Factory is closed on the weekends.
Will there be shopping available?
Yes, the last stop on the tour is our new Chocolate Shoppe.
Guests can shop using an unlimited 10% same-day-tour discount.
Is the 1600 Broadway Chocolate Shoppe open to the public?
This Shoppe is available for tours only. However, we have two other locations, Plaza Frontenac and
32 Maryland Plaza in the Central West End.
Where can I park?
There is a secured parking lot available for our guests to use the day of their scheduled tour.
