LED Display Model: LED02 Parking Made Easy Overview Being the first component drivers see at a carpark equipped with Parkeasy PGS system, LED display plays a vital important part in the guiding function realization. Outdoor LED Display at entrances tells drivers how many spaces are available withinentire garage; Indoor LED Display at intersections tells which direction to take in order to find an available parking space. By using different color LED modules such as Red/Green, Red/Blueetc, we differentiate parking typeseasily. Drivers can easily find different kinds of parking space they need, such as Standard, Disabledetc. Technical Spec Input Voltage: AC100-240V Frequency: 50-60Hz Working Voltage: DC5V Brightness: 500cd/m2 Way of Communication: RS485 Transmission Distance: Maximum 1km Interface: RG45 Cabling: CAT 5 Parking Made Easy Composition LED Display is composed of the listed items: A. LED Module: a group of aligned small LEDs on which information (number, arrow etc.) can be displayed B. LED Controller:drive LED module to displaypre-programmed info C. PowerTransformer: provide DC5V power supply for the LED Display D. Connection Board: eliminate DC24V carried by CAT 5 from NCU/Sensor E. Housing: iron case to assemble all necessary parts of the LED display F. Front Panel: transparent acrylic/PC board with painted signs (icon, text etc.) G. LED Strip: light up the paintings on the front panel A. LED Module LED Module is the principal component of an LED Display, all information pre-programed, such as texts, numbers, arrows etc., are shown on the modules. Parkeasy normally use two kinds of LED modules. a. Φ5/Φ3.75 module P16 module Φ5/Φ3.75 module: high brightness, applied in both indoor & outdoor LED Display Size: Φ5=48.4cm*12.2cm, Φ3.75=30.4cm*7.6cm Color Option: Red/Green & Red/Blue Display Info: number (7cm high) & arrow (8 directions) b. P16 module: better visibility than Φ5/Φ3.75 module, normally used on outdoor LED Display Size: 25.6cm*12.8cm*3.4cm (need at least 4 modules to make up a single directional LED Display) Color options: Red/Green Display info: number B. LED Controller LED Controller drives the LED module to display information such as text, number and arrow, a module needs a driver; followed more details about the controller: LED Controller a. Status lights: RED: indicates power supply of the controller GREEN: twinkling green means the communication is okay while static means no communication. Parking Made Easy b. Blue DIPs: 123456: physical address configuration (LED modules are differentiated by their binary IDs assigned in the system, all IDs are sole and unique) 7: preserved DIP 8:LED module testing switch LED Controller c. RG45: for data and interconnection between controllers C. Power Power CE approved transformer supplying DC5V for the LED display. Power input: AC100-240V/50-60Hz Power output: DC5V D. Connection Board Connection Board The CAT 5 cablecarries both data and DC24V power from Data Collector or Sensor to the LED Display which works at DC5V, before it goes to the LED, Connection Boardeliminatesthe DC24V. E. Housing Housing Customizable iron case used to assemble the other parts of the LED Display, IP65 water proof for outdoor LED Display. Color: black, grey, etc. Painting: frosted or glossy painting F. Front Panel Front Panel Transparent, acrylic or PC board printed with introductory signs such as parking icons, text etc. and with also the function to protect the LED modules. (P.S. Parkeasy standard quotation is based on using acrylic panel, PC panel are fire proof and the price is comparatively higher.) G. LED Stripe LED lights used to light up the signs and text on front panel. LED: 60 pcs/meter, warm white LED Stripe Configuration In the PGS system, an LED Display is usually linked with a string of sensorsandindicates the availability status of related parking spaces. Each LED module has its own physical address to differentiate itself in the system.Followed is a physical address setup instruction using DIP switches: Parking Made Easy Tip: when there is more than 1 LED Display under (connected to) a same Data Collector, all the LED module addresses must be sole and unique. Parking Made Easy Link Configuration Followed is the software interface of the LED Display configuration, in this window, relevant information are filled and the link between LED Display, Data Collector and Sensors are established. The config information is saved in Centre Processor memory chips afterwards. LED Configuration Basic info: Address, connected NCU, etc Arrow Details (position & direction) and full parking sign Link info: Related NCU & sensors
