TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Multi Tech Audio Visual Inc.
This rental agreement is made between Multi Tech Audio Visual Inc. and the Customer becoming effective upon the scheduled Rental Date.

PRICING: All prices are based on customer pickup from Multi Tech Audio Visual Inc. located at 49 Morrow Rd. Unit #17, Barrie, ON. Delivery, Set-up, Strike
and On-Site Technical services carry additional charges and can vary with circumstances. Charges will be outlined on your Quote.
Weekly Rentals: (Monday thru Thursday)
Based on a 24 hour period = 1 Day
Weekend Rental Rate: = 1 Day
Pick up: by Friday (4pm – 8pm).
Return: by Monday (8am –Noon).
IDENTIFICATION: A valid Credit Card must be held on file and presented at time of rental. If you authorize a second-party to pick up on your behalf, please
notify us prior. We request a Valid Photo ID.
ON-SITE TECHNICIAN: (Must be pre-booked) Looking for a little extra reassurance? We can provide you with experienced, qualified, professional On-Site
AUDIO VISUAL Technical Support. If you would like to book a technician to stay for the duration of your event, please book at least 4 business days before
event date.
SETUP/STRIKE: (Must be pre-booked) Our goal is to have our team deliver and set-up your Rental Equipment and be completed a 30 minutes before the
start of your event. Time requirement will be determined by individual event size and indicated on your Rental Quote. Please arrange to be available for
safe access allowance and if no ON-SITE TECHNICIAN is booked, operate instructions will be given by set-up personnel.
DELIVERY POLICIES: Standard delivery within Barrie is defined as any rental equipment that can be transported in a standard van by (1) one MTAV driver. All
deliveries are based on a radius from the Multi Tech Audio Visual Inc. warehouse location at 49 Morrow Rd. Barrie, ON. Any events requiring a larger
trucking service shall bear a cost based on the geographic location of the event, the type of vehicle(s) and the amount of equipment required for that event.
STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGES: Call for Quote for all deliveries outside city limits or when our technical services are not booked. Consider picking up and
returning your rental at your convenience at our 49 Morrow Rd. Unit #17 location.
CANCELLATION: For ALL orders OVER $1,000, a 25% deposit is required. To ensure the equipment is available for your event, once a rental date is agreed
upon your equipment is removed from our inventory and allotted to you. You the customer will be charged a 25% fee if you cancel our rental agreement
anytime between 3-5 days of your rental date. A 50% charge will be in effect if you cancel 1 day before your rental date. If any rental over $1,000 is
cancelled the day of the event, a 100% charge will be charged on your credit card.
LATE/DAMAGE FEES: You will be billed for any additional (daily rate) charges accrued for any equipment not returned by the due date specified on the
approved quote. The MTAV team will inspect the returned equipment and notify the customer of any additional charges due to missing items or damages
within 72 hours of possession. Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to all rental equipment while in their possession regardless if an on-site
technician is booked.
RENTAL INVENTORY We are continually adding to our rental inventory. If you don’t see what you are looking for on our product list or in a package, please
give us a call. We may already have it in stock or we’ll do our best to make sure it is available for your event. All rental equipment is tested and returned to
our inventory only after it goes through our quality control inspection. Our expectation is that all of our equipment is in top-notch working order, but,
unfortunately things do happen. If the equipment malfunctions, please contact us immediately.
UNUSED RENTAL EQUIPMENT: No adjustment will be made for any unused equipment.
LIABILITY: Customer shall be responsible for ALL rental equipment from Multi Tech Audio Visual Inc. that is damaged, lost or stolen whether by misuse,
accident or neglect unless caused by MTAV negligence. I am aware that this equipment is not insured. Equipment is used at Customer’s sole risk, and
Customer will indemnify and hold harmless MTAV from any and all liability claims, cost, and expenses arising out of Customer’s use or possession of the
equipment.
CUSTOMERS ADDITIONAL OBLIGATIONS:
 Customer will not allow equipment to be used by any person not familiar with its operation.
 Customer will maintain equipment in good repair, and will return it in same condition; ordinary wear and tear as determined by MTAV excepted.
 Failure of equipment due to adverse conditions, setup or improper usage by the customer does not release the customer from rental payments.
 The Customer must provide 24-hour security of equipment during the rental period.
 The Customer must report equipment problems IMMEDIATELY.
 Signer warrants that he/she is the Customer or an authorized representative of the Customer.
 A Signature or Email Correspondence of QUOTE ACCEPTANCE, Customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payments may be made by Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, and American Express). Unless you have pre-arranged terms payment is due at
TIME of RENTAL. Additional charges may apply within 72 hours of rental return due to loss, late fees, damages or missing items. See LATE/DAMAGES.
