SPECIFICATIONS Construction Specifications Durable 20 gauge steel with a white powder coat finish with no external openings for a clean look eliminating light leaks. Back and face plate are easily removed for maintenance. Single, double or universal face must be specified. Unit offers a universal mounting pattern. An external test switch is standard on all emergency self powered units. Pictograms Pictograms that do not specify a direction, such as no indictor (0), D (down indicator) or U (up indictor), the sign will show a right facing person. If a direction is specified, such as L (left indicator) or R (right indicator), the running man will be shown facing the direction of the indicator. The universal options includes a pictogram with no directional indicators, a pictogram with a left facing directional indicator and a pictogram with a right facing directional indicator. Mechanical Specifications The M series is constructed from durable 20 gauge steel. Removable back plate with removable chevrons, two face plates and all mounting hardware for universal mounting options. High output LED technology, for long life and even illumination in 120/347VAC.All versions are C860 approved and consume only 1.1W nominal power. Maintenance free sealed lead acid batteries. Electronic cut‐off circuit prevents over discharge. External test switch and monitor LED are standard. Emergency self‐powered units are designed to operate on battery power in the event of a power failure. Battery and charger are completely contained within the enclosure. The emergency unit utilizes solid state transfer technology eliminating relay failure due to particle build up on the relay. Push test switch provided for determining operational status of exit on AC fail. M i
