REVISE instructions for pre-bid walk through. REPLACE contact email address with
ron.rieker@co.yakima.wa.us. All attendees will need to schedule their attendance by
emailing Ron Rieker at ron.rieker@co.yakima.wa.us.
SUBSTITUTION REQUEST REVIEW (prebid)
Approval applies to specific product substitution only and does not relieve the Contractor/
Supplier from the responsibility of meeting all applicable requirements of the Plans and
Specifications. “Yes” indicates that the substitution request is accepted; “No” indicates that it is
NOT accepted, and “Pending” indicates that evaluation of the substitution request is pending.
The following representatives and manufacturers have further agreed upon the following:
1. The proposed substitution does not affect dimensions shown on the Drawings.
2. The proposer will pay for changes to the building design, including engineering design,
detailing, and construction costs caused by the requested substitution.
3. The proposed substitution will have no adverse effect on other trades, the construction
schedule, or specified warranty requirements.
4. Maintenance and service parts will be locally available for the proposed substitution.
5. The proposed substitution function, appearance, and quality are equivalent or superior to
the specified item.

SPECIFICATIONS
HOUSING: Die-formed prime grade material as specified – see ordering information. TIG and spot welded construction.
LENS: As specified – maximum thickness .500" (1.27cm)– see ordering information. Kenall recommends a prismatic inner lens and a clear outer lens. Two clear lenses used in combination cannot
be provided.
LENS RETENTION: Vertically adjustable continuous “Z” brackets of prime grade material, secured to housing via thru-studs (6" (15.24cm) maximum spacing).
DOOR: One-piece die-formed prime grade material as specified – see ordering information. Corners continuously seam welded and smooth with no post grinding (TIG).
HINGE: Full length completely concealed internal piano hinge (1/2" (1.27cm) knuckle/1/8" (.32cm) diameter pin) standard. Pin secured to knuckle. Hinge welded to door.
FASTENERS: Hardened security screws as specified – see ordering information. Fully recessed.
FINISH: TGIC polyester powder coat – 5-stage pre-treatment. Salt spray test: 1,000 hours; Reflectance: 92%.
LED ELECTRICAL: Available 3500K, 4000K and 5000K color temperatures, 82 CRI. 120-277VAC, 50/60Hz electrical input with serviceable high power factor electronic, constant-current driver
(<20% THD, >0.95 PF). Standard 0-10V dimming with 3-100% range.
LAMPS: Quantity and type as specified – see ordering information. Lamps supplied by others.
BALLAST: Quantity and type as specified – see ordering information. All ballasts UL listed class P.
LUMINOUS SEAL: Polyurethane foam prevents light leaks from luminaire base.
WARRANTY: Limited five (5) year warranty on LED lamps.
PHOTOMETRICS: Efficiency of RMCA4-2/2-232-IS-1-120-1/9-1 = 51%. For photometric information, go to www.kenall.com.
