Radio/BTS, RRH, DAS & Small Cell Cabinets
Charles CUBE Radio/BTS cabinets are rugged outdoor pad mount cabinets that comply with GR-487 and support up to 39RU of
equipment mounting space. Radio cabinets possess front and rear doors, various thermal management options, AC power
termination and integrated rectifiers. An optional Ni-Cd or VRLA battery compartment may be specified at the bottom of the cabinet.
To support 4G LTE and Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) buildouts, in which Remote Radio Headends (RRH) are placed remotely
from the tower, Charles has developed a compact, robust and GR-487 compliant enclosure platform. Equipment compartments are
designed to house rectifiers to power the RRH, a router, and include space for other ancillary equipment. AC power termination,
heat exchangers and a battery chamber to support Ni-Cd or VRLA batteries round out the solution.
Charles Small Cell enclosures house Ethernet demarcation devices, AC/DC rectifiers, Small Cell equipment and batteries for
backup. Rugged enough to stand up to the outside plant environment, yet small and lightweight, Charles Small Cell CUBE
enclosures have proven a popular choice among providers seeking to expand their cellular network’s coverage.
Radio BTS, RRH and Small Cell Series cabinets are designed to meet NEMA 4X or NEMA 3R standards.

Site Support and Battery Backup Cabinets
Charles CUBE Site Support cabinets allow providers to install high-efficiency rectifiers and the latest in battery technologies in
durable, robust and GR-487 compliant enclosures. With support for VRLA or Ni-Cd batteries, various AC/DC power supply and
power distribution options, and thermal management options; these cabinets protect network integrity with an environmentally
friendly, energy-efficient solution. CUBE Battery Backup cabinets support up to ten strings of 24VDC or five strings of 48VDC
batteries. Importantly, the battery trays have been designed to accommodate both VRLA as well as Ni-Cd battery technologies.
Charles BBU cabinets provide sufficient ventilation and cooling for Ni-Cd technologies without costly air conditioners, heat
exchangers or thermal electric coolers. SS and BBU Series cabinets are designed to meet NEMA 4X (sealed cabinets) or NEMA
3R (vented cabinets) standards.

Rackmount Cabinets (CUBE RL)
CUBE RL Series enclosures are single or multi-compartment cabinets designed for housing and protecting traditional 19" or 23"
rackmount equipment. Options exist for wall, H-Frame or pole mounts for most models. Separate locking compartments on multichamber models offer division of provider and customer equipment access. At cellsites and other multi-user locations, this division
of access allows customers to service their equipment and drops without the need to have the proprietary cabinet owner's
technician open the cabinet for them. RL Series cabinets are certified to Telcordia GR-487 specifications for electronic equipment
cabinets and are designed to meet NEMA 3R or 4X standards, depending upon configuration.
