We will cover Chapters 1-12 of our textbook, pretty much in order, according to the
following schedule. You will be responsible for all material except for Ch.3 section 8;
Ch.5 sections 5 and 9-10; Ch.9 sections 5-7; Ch.10 sections 11-14; Ch.11 sections 1415; Ch.12 sections 2, 7-9. Solutions to the assigned homework problems will be
posted and discussed in recitation at the beginning of the following week; for
maximum benefit, work through all the problems beforehand.
