WHAT
OVERVIEW
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes' signature fundraising
event, Recycled Runway, is a phenomenon! Recycled Runway has grown every year
since its inauguration, and in 2016 is attracting attention & talent from well beyond the
Southern Tier. Because of this exponential growth we moved the event to The Corning
Museum of Glass in 2015 and will be returning there this year. Last spring’s show was
amazing, and this year we look forward to another fantastic event!
The fashion show features one-of-a-kind creations made by artists of all ages, using
recycled or repurposed materials. We are excited to see what materials will be used this

The silent auction features artwork from the region’s most sought-after visual artists,
private concerts from high-profile local musicians, tickets to the region’s premiere theater
and musical performances, and much more.
WHO
Recycled Runway benefits The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, this
region’s arts services organization. We provide learning opportunities, collaborative
networking, cultural exhibits, grants, and programming in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben,
and Tioga counties in New York State. Founded in 1972, The ARTS Council’s mission is to
grow and sustain the arts in our region by working with individual artists, arts and
cultural organizations and the public.
WHERE
For the second year, Recycled Runway will be held at The Corning Museum of Glass,
One Museum Way, Corning, NY 14830. This prestigious venue allows us to showcase the
spectacular runway designs and the silent auction, while giving us space to offer the
show to a bigger audience than ever before. In order to increase our audience numbers
in 2016 we will also be offering a new pricing tier allowing for a more affordable
experience!
WHEN
Recycled Runway will be held Saturday, June 4, from 7:30pm – 10:30pm.
