General Description
Grid to Go™ is a deployable power unit that is noise and emission free. Energy stored within the unit is converter
electronically into mains power. The unit can be re-charged by connecting to a mains power supply or from a
generator. It is also possible to connect solar PV or wind power to charge the unit. Our product brochure
(available on request) explains the various function in more detail.
Options and accessories
A number of optional features are available that include a road-tow kit, deployable solar PV frame, and GSM
monitoring. Units can be customised for alternative paint colours, connection arrangements and other user
specified features.
Battery specification
Battery type and specification are critical for reliable performance. As standard, Grid to Go™ is supplied with a
maintenance free lead acid battery designed for deep-cycle, traction style duty. Typical life equates to 8-10 years
in heavy cyclic duty. Battery life may, in practice, be more or less than this depending on duty and environment.
Alternative battery types are available including other Lead Acid types and Lithium Ion. Please discuss your
needs with a technical advisor to establish what will be the most appropriate specification for your needs.

The most common question is how long will the unit
last on a single charge? The answer depends entirly on
how fast the energy is used up. Power useage is not
always steady so it’s difficult to be specific but, as a
guide, this chart shows typical duration based on an
average power use as a percentage of rated output.
