Important Notes:
The “Countries and Education Systems” listed here reflect only the most frequent countries/education
systems with which we work. If you do not see your country or education system listed OR if you are
completing a different type of credential than is listed for your country, you are welcome to contact
Admissions to discuss your credential requirements and eligibility.
The “Required Documents” listed here reflect the documents necessary to be considered for admission
AND the credential required to demonstrate full completion of secondary school. To be eligible for
admission consideration, applicants must have completed at least 75% of their secondary schooling (e.g., 3
of 4 years complete, 2 of 3 years complete, grade 11 of 12 complete). In such cases, applicants are
considered for admission while their final term(s) of high school/secondary school are in progress, and
admission is provisional until a final, official transcript and/or completion credential, as identified here, has
been submitted. Applicants who already have completed secondary school at the point of application are
required to submit all the documents listed here, including proof of completion, in order to be considered
for admission.
The “Freshman/First Year Admission Standards” listed here reflect the minimum achievement level
required to be considered a strong candidate for direct admission to CSU. Applicants who achieve at levels
notably above these minimums can be considered for an admission-based scholarship (deadlines apply).
Applicants who have results slightly below these levels still may apply to Colorado State University since
many factors are considered in the admission decision; in such cases, it is especially important to present
strong support documents demonstrating the potential for university-level success as evidenced by other
achievements/personal qualities.
