WorldWide Records announces Webster Hall will once
again host the 4 annual East Ville des Folies, Prohibition themed Beer and Whiskey tasting
festival on Saturday, January 16th with tickets going on sale December 5th, 2015, the
anniversary of the repeal of the Volstead Act. Featuring four floors and over 40,000 square feet
of beers and whiskeys from around the world, the event will take place again at Webster Hall
from 2:30PM – 5:30PM with a VIP-Only Preview Hour from 1:30PM - 2:30PM.

At the pinnacle of Nightlife’s First Golden Age, Webster Hall was a regular hot spot for quiet
knocks and hushed whispers, turn-the-other-cheek coppers and strong booze. Reputedly
owned by infamous mobster Al Capone, the venue conveniently ignored the prohibition mantra,
and quickly earned its moniker as the “Jewel of the Village” among its adventurous clientele.
Fast forward to now, 130 years since its inception, Webster Hall is bringing it all back.
Over 1,500 guests will have the opportunity to sample 4 floors of rare Whiskeys and Beers from
around the world while immersed in the culture of the original burlesque hall as it was at the turn
of the century. Done with the Webster Hall flair, the event will feature Aerialist, Flappers and
Burlesque. The era will be revived through performances by 1920’s inspired bands.
Complete with vintage photographs that date back far before Instagram found inspiration in their
antiquity, the speakeasy bar downstairs will be transformed into an exclusive cocktail lounge
and photo booth. The Balcony Lounge will be transformed into the Gentleman’s Lounge.
WorldWide Records is proud to partner with Variety the Children’s Charity of New York for East
Ville des Folies Acte Quatre. A portion of this year's proceeds will be donated to the charity,
which is a 501(c)3 non-profit, to support grassroots non-profit organizations in the Tri-State area
whose programs use the arts as a catalyst to transform the lives of under-served children. For
