Step-by-Step Installation
1. Membrane Power Switch
 Confirm TD2 is OFF
2a./2b. Source Drive Interface
 Connect IDE or SATA source
drive to TD2
3a./3b. Source Drive Power
 Connect IDE or SATA to TD2
source drive power
4a./4b. SATA Destination Drive Interface
 Connect TD2 to SATA
destination drive(s)
6. USB 2.0 Port
 Save logs to a USB storage
device and/or use duplicator
with a USB keyboard (optional)
7. FireWire 400 Port
 Connect TD2 to external computer for
firmware updates (via Tableau firmware
update utility) as necessary
8. Power (DC In)
 Connect TP4 power supply to TD2 DC In
Powering on the TD2: Power on the TD2,
source drive, and destination drive by pressing
the TD2 membrane power switch.
Setup Wizard: Upon initial startup, the user
will be prompted to configure the TD2. These
settings will be saved for future duplications.
One Button Duplication: Follow
instructions to connect drives and power-on
the TD2. Press the start button to verify
destination drive against presets and
initiate duplication.
