W
e are a leader in providing support and
training activities for people returning to
work or those making their first step into the
workplace.
We pride ourselves on being a mentor and
advocate for early school-leavers and those
wanting to succeed through training and
employment.
Our industry links with prominent businesses and
organisations creates a natural pathway for
students, enhanced by our strong ties with
Brookfield Multiplex, Housing Industry Association,
House with No Steps, Top Blokes Foundation etc.
A large factor of our success is our ability to host
both indoor and outdoor activities at our
Wollongong and North Wollongong premises,
ensuring our reputation as a leader in training.
Our lush garden, created by staff and students,
allows us to train students in a variety of courses
such as horticulture, landscaping and other
environmental jobs.
Once an overgrown wasteland, we've turned the
1000 sq metre site into thriving learning
environment and a living classroom.
Our garden has allowed students to grow fresh
vegetables, socialise in a positive environment, and
to use the area as a means to completing a course
and seeking employment.
Our indoor environment is vast and comes
complete with a workshop filled with tools and
machinery for future trade students, a meeting
room, computer lab, music room and a large
classroom.
We also encourage work to be performed off-site
in collaboration with various community groups.
Our Wollongong site is first-class, and
encompasses training rooms and a large music
room complete with a stage for performances.
The combination of indoor and outdoor activities is
a major drawcard for students and allows us to
conduct a wide range of courses with success.

This Certificate II is designed to introduce learners to the recognised trade callings in the construction industry

The Certificate III reflects the role of employees in Local Government who perform tasks involving a broad range

CERTIFICATE II IN WASTE MANAGEMENT
Industries: public administration and safety, electricity, gas, water and waste services
Occupations: recycling or rubbish collector
This qualification applies to individuals undertaking pre-vocational programs or those entering the workforce.
They may be responsible for routine waste management activities, but work under close supervision.

Successful completion of the licensing units within the qualification must align with licensing and regulatory
requirements applicable to driving and state/territory regulatory requirements.
