DECOWALL®
DESCRIPTION
Impermeable transpiring mortar provided in various colours of excellent adherence for the
revetment of external and internal facades . Directly placed on concrete, bricks or dry wall and
subsequently stamped to obtain a perfect imitation of pebbles, stones bricks etc. It consists of a
plastic plaster formed by DECOWALL protected with DECOWAX neutral tinted or coloured or with
DECOTINT. It can be finished, wrought ,raised, orange skin, by roller, stamped.
PRODUCT
The DECOWALL is provided in paper sacks (three sheets with the central one in poliethilene)
weighing 25 kg each stored on 60 sacks pallets for a total weight of 1500 kg . It can be
manufactured in various colours.
The outcome results to be about 1,8 sqm of 1 cm thickness per bag. Mineral products are part of
its composition for more than 95% it corresponds to MO classification in respect of the blaze
degree according to the NBE-CPI-96 rules .
INSTALLATION
DECOWALL is recommended to be applied on normal concrete supports, bricks etc. should not be
applied on hydro repellent supports of gypsum on paintings and plastic revetments . The supports
must have the following qualities:
Resistance : neither deformable nor degradable
Cleaning: Dust free mush, oil degradable paint incrustation etc.
If surfaces are very degraded is advisable to protect them by applying a layer of rough finishing
and only when this will have sufficiently hardened DECOWALL could be applied. It is necessary to
let the newly applied strata to became very hard before applying DECOWALL. It always
recommended to abrade the smooth surfaces.
Before applying DECOWALL it is imperative to ascertain that mostly the shrinkage of the
supporting strata has taken place.
The support should not be very dry, it is necessary therefore to moist the surface waiting that the
moisture is absorbed by the strata itself. Do not apply DECOWALL on saturated support.
MIX PREPARATION
The dust product mast be mixed with 20% water +- 1%in mixing machine or plastering machine
so to guarantee an optimum mix. In cases where mixing is performed by hand be sure of its
correct and homogeneous mix before applying.
The mix already prepared must be applied within one hour after having had it rested for 5-10
minutes in order to allow a better dissolving of the additives in the product composition.

The Mix is applied by a spatula or by machine by a minimum thickness of 10mm also if an
average thickness of 15 mm is recommended. Once the surface has been smoothed with the
spatula various finishing can be performed or direct printing can be done.
STAMPING
Over the just finished surface by spatula stamps moisten with STONE LIQUID RELEASE
stamped with the required finishing (old brick, ardesia, lavagna etc) will be used. These will be
forced on the revetment until the desired feature is stamped.
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATIONS
In the DECOWALL application the same rules of the state of art for the traditional hydraulic
revetments will be used : For the application of the revetment it is recommended that the
support temperature measured on the same support, is not below 5 degrees nor above 30
degrees, it is mandatory to adopt special precautions when the temperature is lower than
the lower limit.
In the presence of dry wind or hot temperatures the revetment must be humidified 24 hours
before its application to avoid appearing of anomalies on the same (air cracks, areas with dust
etc). Higher the temperatures higher the appearance of these phenomena. With low temperatures
and high humidity the risk of

ROCKWALL®
DESCRIPTION
It’s the ideal product to realize natural elements like simulated stone, rock, falls, texturing
vertical surfaces subjected to hits and other natural surfaces.
Suitable to be used in public spaces,for instance premises, gardens theme parks etc.. thanks to
it’s good resistance to hits.
It is composed of cement, polymers, admixtures and selected sands. ROCKWALL sticks perfectly
on concrete, bricks, wood or dry till a thickness of 8-10 cm.. Rockwall is an easy to apply add
water only product, it may be colored with DECOTINT and sealed with SEAL W both water based.
Rockwall may be easily textured by carving, stamping and other texturing methods.

PRODUCT

colour. Upon request it can be manufactured in various colours.

CONCLUSIONS
ROCKWALL corresponds to a light plaster (between 1100-Kg/mc), it has a medium high capacity
of water retention which allows an easy placing and a satisfactory final appearance of the
revetment regardless the absorbing differences that could occur. Its adherence is sufficient to
assure a correct bond of the finished product. It has a medium elasticity module useful to absorb
little movements of the support. The coefficient of capillarity can be qualified as very weak and
this constitute a bust for the material resistance to water penetration assuring the low
permeability required for the single strata revetments.

LIQUID RELEASE
DESCRIPTION
STONE LIQUID RELEASE is a blend of evaporating, residue free release agents for use in the
stamping process to allow the clean release of texture tools from the concrete or overlay surface.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1) STONE SYSTEM – stamped concrete
After the concrete has been colored and is ready to be stamped, using a pump sprayer apply
LIQUID RELEASE over the surface of stamping mats and on the surface to be stamped.
Stamping must be carried out immediately before the RELEASE evaporates. Do net get too far
ahead with the stamping as the RELEASE will evaporate and a second application may be
needed. Stamp as usual, and if you see any mistakes as you stamp, you can re-trowel and restamp the area if needed. Apply freely and as much as you need.
2) STONE OVERLAY SYSTEM – polymer overlay
After polymer overlay is set (STONE OVERLAY SYSTEM), with a pump sprayer apply the
LIQUID RELEASE over the surface of stamping mats and on the surface to be stamped and
proceed as step 1)
3) DECOWALL – stamped covering
After setting the DECOWALL on the vertical surface to be stamped, using a pump sprayer
apply the LIQUID RELEASE only over the stamping mats surface and then proceed as step 1)
and 2)
PRECAUTIONS
Wear gloves and goggles while using. Do not allow to get into eyes. Keep out reach of children.
COVERAGE
75 to 90 sq.m per 20 litres container.

DECOWAX
DESCRPITION
Water based product suitable to waterproofing, colouring and protect
ROCKWALL surfaces.
DECOWALL and

Is available in different colours, they can be mixed together to obtain other colours or applied
layers to obtain the wished chromatic effect.
Is available in kg 1 - kg 5 - kg 20 containers
The coverage is about 15-20 m2/kg.
APPLICATION
Apply with brush, sponge after 3-4 days by pose of DECOWALL. Among the application wait that
the surface dries.
Use this product with an air temperature higher than 5°. Store the DECOTINT in a dry, covered
place and with a temperature never lower of 5°.

DECOTINT®
DESCRIPTION
Water Based waterproofing product, colouring and protective to use up covering by DECOWALL
and ROCKWALL.
PACKAGING
Is available in different colours, they can be mixed together to obtain other colours or applied
layers to obtain the wished chromatic effect.
Is available in kg 1 - kg 5 - kg 20 containers
The coverage is about 10-15 m2/kg
APPLICATION
To obtain various color shades or tones apply different coats with different DECOTINT colors.
Apply with spray gun, by brush or with a sponge at least 3 or 4 days after the placing of the
DECOWALL or ROCKWALL.
At last apply two coats of Hydrofloor sealer.
WARNING
Use this product with an air temperature higher than 5° C. Store the DECOTINT in a dry, covered
place and with a temperature never lower of 5° C.

HYDROFLOOR
DESCRIPTION
Acrylic polymer based protective resin in an aqueous solution.
GENERAL CHARATERISTICS AND FIELDS OF USE
It has an high resistance to bad weather conditions, acid and basic industrial fumes, oils, moulds,
infrared and ultraviolet rays, ecc.
The HYDROFLOOR applied in layers (usually two coats according to the porosity and absorption
of the base) is particularly suitable for stamped concrete floorings “STONE SYSTEM” type and in
the wall covering like DECOWALL® or ROCKWALL®, both inside and outside. It is also suitable for
the treatment of bricks, stones, cotto , travertine , peperino.

PRIMER SL20
DESCRIPTION
Adhesion promoter composed by resins in water dispersion, suitable in case of smooth
and non-absorbent surfaces before sub base cement-lime plaster applicatio and colored
mineral plasters.

GENERAL CHARATERISTICS
Appearance:
yellow liquid with sand in dispersion
Density: 1,5 kg/l
Consistency: viscous paste
Reaction to fire: A1 class (incombustible)
PRIMER SL 20 allow to have plaster adhesion to the base higher than 0,5 N/mm².
This results comes from laboratory test made in controlled areas thus they could be
slightly modified from the laying conditions.
APPLICATION CYLCE
In the case of surfaces covered with moss and mold you should remove them by washing
the surface with a special sanitizing solution and after 3 -5 hours carefully brushed. If
you are covering old tiles be sure they are well anchored and clean the surface with
detergents.
Mix well, then spread evenly onto the substrate using a steel trowel, when applied by
brush or roller, the product can be diluted with water up to a maximum of 20%.
After 3 hours and within 3 days, proceed with the laying of the plaster. Do not apply in
case of imminent rain. Application temperature range +5 ° C to +35 ° C. During the
application from time to time mix the product to keep it homogeneous.
